The Guilty Gear Strive player count has passed 3 million different players! That’s total users rather than live players. However, there are some ways to judge just how many people are online and playing now too.

Guilty Gear Strive is quite a few years into release but it’s proven strong. It’s had a lasting effect on the fighting game esports community which has outshined many bigger franchises in recent years. We see this all over, from its bigger tournament sign-ups to these sales figures marking it passing 3 million. Guilty Gear Strive Passes 3 Million Players

Strive has just passed 3 million in sales, and 3 million different users can play the game! This milestone shows off how far the title has come, proving very popular with fighting game players. Arc has revealed a few extra bits of support coming to the title soon. The first is a Team of 3 game mode which is in development right now.

Then there’s the Dual Rulers anime that’s already been announced! It looks like Strive will continue to be supported for quite a while, so it’s great that the Guilty Gear Strive player count seems to be staying so high.

How Many People Play Guilty Gear Strive?

That’s the latest threshold for the Strive player count. However, how many people actively play is a bit of a different situation. The game doesn’t have public figures for active player counts on console. We can look at the Steam player count though. This can give us a good idea of how wide the game’s audience is on other platforms too.

Looking exclusively at Steam, Strive still attracts daily peaks of a few thousand players. It’s quite a bit below its all-time peak of over 30,000. However, big developments still bring in bigger player totals.

To say that Strive is a much older game, this title still has a very healthy following. Even this week we’ve learnt it’s out-ranked brand-new titles in EVO 2024 registrations. There’s still plenty of life left in Strive in the coming years.
