Multiversus has a batch of new content around for its Summer Quests. One of these quests is causing a bit of a problem though, the MultiVersus Joker Jack in the Box Quest. It’s a challenge to use one of the Joker’s moves, but it isn’t quite working as intended. MultiVersus players have run into a few problems getting it done.
The game has a wide cast of playable MultiVersus characters. Not all of them are available to everyone thanks to how the game is monetized. However, a lot of the quests are character-specific rather than being open to the entire cast which means you’ll need a specific character to even complete the quest. Where one of these has run into problems is a new Joker quest. This one tasks players to “create a jack in the box” with Joker in MultiVersus.
On the surface, it sounds simple. The execution doesn’t seem to be working as intended though, so how can you get it fixed and start back up with the MultiVersus Joker Jack in the Box quest?

The new quest is MultiVersus is tied specifically to Joker. The quest asks players to create a Jack in the Box, using Joker. If you’ve seen his moveset then a solution likely comes to mind but something different is what actually triggers it.
You’ll need to use the Joker’s ground special first. However, jumping in and trying it out, it doesn’t seem to work as intended. Players will need to do it five times, but it seems to be running into problems getting it on track. It seems that it’s bugged!

It’s one of those problems we’re waiting for more MultiVersus updates to see resolved. You can get it completed with a slight workaround though. Use the Joker’s Down special in the air and it should track for this quest. You’ll need to do it five times to finish it off. It’s not quite the move that the quest would suggest, but using a different part of Joker’s moveset you can complete it.
