When is the MultiVersus Release Time in Each Country?

MultiVersus is coming back, and the wait is nearly over. Within a few hours, we’ll unlock the game again. The crossover platform fighting will come back at 4 AM, for one time zone. As is normally the case with these kinds of countdowns, it’s a bit vaguer when the release will be turned back on for everyone. If you don’t have some innate ability to decode time zones, we’ve got the MultiVersus release time all around the world.

As a live service game, the release time for MultiVersus isn’t as simple as midnight in each different region. It actually releases at the same time everywhere. The game will be re-released in a different time depending on your platform. Developers have also specified access to the servers when MultiVersus returns will be in waves. How will the game’s re-download work and when can you start?

The big question a lot of people probably have is why is PC different? The short answer seems to be that Steam updates their pages at a different time to console. Most games do manage to work around this usually, but given extra steps are being taken for server stability then this will likely help too.

That’s when the update will be available for players to download again, but actually getting in is a bit different. The developers behind the game have explained how this will work along with the MultiVersus release time. You can download the new version of MultiVersus at this time, then you might be in a queue.

Once downloaded, you can boot up and try to join. For the lucky or the quick, this will mean they can start playing. if you’re a bit slowest on the draw or unlucky enough to be in a later wave though, you’ll likely get a queue screen.

Players getting access will be staggered. One wave will be let in, and then a short while after another wave will be. This will help ensure the server is ramped back up and outages are avoided. It’ll be frustrating if you’ve been waiting to see how the new MultiVersus characters play. However, it shouldn’t take too long after the MultiVersus release time for everyone to get access again. Turning things back on early morning on a Tuesday will likely help to stagger demand too.
