MultiVersus is one of 2024’s biggest fighters. Plus, it’s free-to-play, which means basically anyone can jump in. However, there are a handful of barriers to entry into the game. Such as the MultiVersus system requirements.

No matter what platform you’re playing on, MultiVersus has some requirements to run. On PC, these specs are what you’ll need to hit to even run the game. There are the minimum requirements to run it at a basic level. Then there are the recommended requirements to run it well. That’s what you’ll need to run the game at a level that’s competitive. Maybe not fighting game esports level, but at a level where you’ll be on even footing with other players.

On console, things are different. Games don’t run in a bespoke manner, as long as the game is offered on the platform then you can play it. Although, it isn’t available on the entire spectrum of current consoles. What are the MultiVersus System requirements and who can play the game?

MultiVersus System Requirements on PC

On PC, the game needs a certain set of specs to run at the right level. This isn’t to gatekeep the game. It’s the hardware necessary to run it. MultiVersus offline modes are pretty limited, so the game can be demanding at times. These are the specs provided by the publisher for how to run the game.

Those are the MultiVersus system requirements. On PC, you’ll need to hit the minimum to run the game at all. Although, recommended is definitely what you should aim for. Especially if you want to be competitive once MultiVersus Ranked comes back.

MultiVersus on Console

Over on console, MultiVersus doesn’t really have system requirements exactly. You will need a certain amount of free space to host the game. As long as you can fit the title into your system, you’re able to play the game.

MultiVersus isn’t available on every console though. Or one thing, it’s not on Switch. Despite that platform probably having the biggest platform fighter fanbase, it’s skipping that console. On PlayStation and Xbox, the game is available on both new-gen consoles and last. As long as you can keep fitting the MultiVersus updates on your console, you should be safe to play the game.

On these platforms, you don’t really have to worry about MultiVersus system requirements. Although, it’s worth keeping in mind that you also lose the freedom to control how the game runs.
