PUBG X Street Fighter 6 Collab Announced with New Skins and More
Battle Royales like PUBG are no strangers to crossovers, bringing in characters from other franchises to spice things up in the shooter. As one of the most iconic series;’ in gaming as well as maybe the most well-known of the best fighting games, Street Fighter had already made it into Fall Guys and Fortnite. Most recently, we’ve learnt of a new crossover that Capcom’s series will be a part of, PUBG X Street Fighter 6.
The new crossover marks yet another game to include the iconic Street Fighter characters in its roster. PUBG Studios’ initial announcement for the crossover has detailed when we’ll get the new characters in the game. They’re going to be coming as a part of the Survivor Summerfest event. That’s the seasonal event going on in PUBG from July 12 to September 13th. In just a few weeks, we’re going to start a big PUBG X Street Fighter crossover.

The crossover between the two games is going to be consisting of a few areas. The biggest is probably the skins, paid cosmetics to use a different character in-game in PUBG. We already know about five different characters that are coming into the game. There’s going to be a classic looks for Ryu and Cammy. Then a Luke outfit directly from Street Fighter 6! That’s along with a classic and retro look for Chun-Li.
These skins are part of a mega collab event. That means it’s not just going to be skins. It’ll be both skins and in-game items which will hit the game later. We’re getting more than just skins, but the representation for characters definitely gives us a wide spread over the game’s iconic history as well as representing newer characters in the game.
The PUBG X Street Fighter crossover is due to release on July 26th. As we get closer to that release date, we’ll find out more about what’s coming in-game alongside the skins.
