Shine Triumphs in SF 6 at East Coast Throwdown
SF 6 at East Coast Throwdown was one of. Our most exciting events of the weekend. We saw big wins elsewhere in Smash at the Big House 11, plus exciting events like MK 1 here. However, Shine’s run through SF 6 is definitely worth highlighting in the weekend’s fighting game action. Up against some of the best active players in fighting game esports, the player has shown he can compete on the highest level grabbing his first SF 6 tournament win.

Shine Wins SF 6 at East Coast Throwdown
In the Finals bracket of SF 6 at East Coast Throwdown, we saw two of the top active players face each other in the very first round of the winners’ bracket. It was iDom up against Shine, two major players who are both watchable for the Capcom Cup this year. In our very first match, we saw the two clash and Shine just edged out ahead.
It wasn’t just iDom Shine had to get through to reach the Grand Final though. First, he was facing Naji where he again won 3-2. This put Shine through to the Grand Final, but who would he be up against? Naji kicked back down to the lower bracket to fight Burkish but easily won 3-0, with a rematch set up against Naji. Things didn’t really change in this second match-up though, where Shine again won to claim victory over the entire SF 6 at East Coast Throwdown tournament.
