NuckleDu Wins CEOtaku 2023 with Dominant Performance
Street Fighter 6 at CEOTaku 2023 was one of the biggest events across the weekend. We saw loads of the best SF 6 players compete here. While the event wasn’t a CPT qualifier like EVO, this was still one of the biggest tournaments. We saw over 500 players compete, but who walked away with the big prize? There were some unexpected results but eventually, NuckleDu secured another big win at CEOtaku 2023.
NuckleDu Wins SF 6 at CEOtaku 2023
NuckleDu entered the Final Bracket at the top of the seeding and set things off to a fantastic start. He beat NBNHMR with a clean 3-0 win. In the Winners Final, he faced Punk. The player has been one to watch in early SF 6, and he’s also taken 2nd in MK 1 at CEOtaku 2023. Facing NuckleDu here, he just came short, losing 3-1.
Knocked down to the Losers’ Final Punk easily beat out FlashMetroid 3-0. This set the Grand Finals up to be a rematch between NuckleDu and Punk. The game proceeded quite similarly to the Winners Final though, with NuckleDu once again winning 3-1. Punk had some strong performances across games this weekend, but in SF 6 at CEOtaku 2023 NuckleDu was definitely the stronger player. With that, he’s secured his first big SF 6 win for the year. If he can repeat this at a Capcom Pro Tour, he’ll have a decent chance for a repeat Capcom Cup win.
This is one of two big second-place finishes at CEOTaku 2023 for Punk though. It’s an impressive set of results. The player has shown he’s still on top of the game, even if he didn’t quite manage a full win.

CEOtaku SF 6 Preview
Street Fighter 6 is getting a new tournament at CEOTaku 2023. The Floridan fighting game tournament is going to be host to one of our biggest events for 2023’s top fighting game release. The SF 6 at CEOTaku event will be taking place over September 22-24th.
SF 6 at CEOTaku 2023 might not be a part of the Capcom Pro Tour, but it’s maybe our biggest in-person event since EVO 2023. This is what to expect at the tournament with some of the top players showing up.
Top Players to Watch at Street Fighter 6 CEOTaku 2023
These are some of the top players you can catch at CEOTaku 2023. With a lot of the best SF 6 players showing up here, it’ll definitely be a tournament to keep an eye on for the game.
Punk

Punk is far and away one of the standout players in SF 6 so far. In the past, he’s claimed a runner’s up spot at the Capcom Cup, but he’s been showing he can go all the way in SF 6. Most recently he’s won a World Warrior event. However, prior to this, he took 3rd at EVO 2023, 2nd at an Intel Street Fighter 6 Invitational. Punk might be the player to beat at CEOTaku 2023.
NuckleDu
The next major name showing up for SF 6 at CEOTaku is NuckleDu.
The player is a former Capcom Cup Champion who might be able to repeat that feet this year. He’s coming into CEOTaku 2023 fresh off winning the Aegis Esports SF6 Invitational, along with the Intel SF 6 Invitational and Final Bout of Fighters. He’s another contender worth watching at the SF 6 tournament.

Another player worth highlighting here is Justakid. The player has been a part of Moist Esports for a while and is definitely in the top flight of Street Fighter 6. Some of his recent results include second at F2Con 2023 and 3rd at Final Bought of Fighters. He’s been ranking pretty consistently in the higher end, hopefully, CEOTaku could be where he gets a major win under his belt for the Autumn.
Those are a few of the bigger fighters to keep an eye on at the Street Fighter 6 CEOTaku event. This is going to be a great chance to see how things have developed since EVO and how all the more minor SF 6 patch notes have affected things since the game was released and players get deeper into mechanics.
