Best  Landing Spots Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 Has

Mega City

It’s hard to look at the best landing spots for Fortnite this season without focusing on the major new landmark. This is a whole new city in Fortnite! It’s huge. Mega City has loads of chests, a vault, and a boss character. It’s even got the big mobility feature of grind rails. This is where half of the current Fortnite player count is dropping right now, it’s one of the busiest spots on the map. If you can tolerate some early fights, you’re going to get good loot though.

The Citadel

The Citadel might be lacking in Oathbound chests, but it’s had its spawns dialled up to compensate. You’re now getting a lot more normal loot compared to last season. The landing spots Fortnite has this season are still dense with players given the sparse map, but the Citadel tends to be quiet. With the old boss gone a lot of players overlook it. It’s a good spot if you’re looking for a quieter start with the loot of a named POI.

Brutal Bastion

A favorite drop of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1, this area on the map has remained strong this season. It’s still one of the best places to land if you want a mix of loot and action. There are plenty of chest spawns along with another vault for a mythic shotgun. One big advantage of dropping here is the abundance of launch pads too. It’s still one of the top landing spots Fortnite has.

The Racetrack

This is a non-named POI, but one that’s still worth looking at as one of the best landing spots Fortnite offers this season. It’s a large racetrack just up from the new Mega City. It’s absolutely filled with new vehicle spawns for the latest cars and bikes. There’s plenty of loot too. It’s great for guaranteeing a safer start for looting before you rotate over to a named POI better equipped than those who got dropped. In Fortnite, all seasons have non-POI drop spots which are quietly better than landing at half of the labelled places on the map!

Anvil Square

Anvil Square hasn’t had a lot of major changes, but it’s still one of the best landing spots Fortnite has in Chapter 4 Season 2. This area features a decent amount of loot and a split-level layout. This means you have natural high ground to take advantage of in fights. It’s a great pick for a mix between loot and security in Fortnite Chapter 4.
