Fortnite has a brand-new mode out, which means new quests and opportunities to win. However, one special quest is here using some third-party software. A fresh Discord Fortnite quest has been added for Reload where players can unlock a free cosmetic item in-game.
In the past, Epic has been pretty creative with how you can unlock free items in Fortnite. There’s been plenty in-game, and some are coming up when the Fortnite Summer event starts. However, some others have come through connecting your Epic account to third-party software. A lot of PC gamers likely already have Discord. This new quest will allow you to get a reward for playing through Discord. This is how it works.
A new Discord quest is here to explore the new mode, Fortnite Reload. The Chapter 1-inspired mode caters to those who want pure gunplay out of Fortnite. If you use Discord regularly, you’ll be able to complete a new quest. It’ll allow you to unlock a free cosmetic, the Fortnite Victory Crown avatar decoration. It’s an item you can use on your avatar to re-create the look of a Victory Crown in-game.

Victory Crowns are the cosmetic item you get in Fortnite when you win a round. They’re a vital prize you receive when you manage a win. Winning again with a Victory Crown gets you a Crown Royale, which you can show off in a special emote. The prize for the Discord Fortnite quest doesn’t get you a real crown in-game. However, you can style your Discord look to show just how much you win in Battle Royale.

Then you should be able to get your Discord Fortnite reward! There is a time limit for completing this though. You’ll need to get it all done by July 9th. It’s only a few weeks but since the steps are quite easy it won’t take too long to complete.
