How to Get the Eternal Razorwing Pickaxe

Fortnite has tons of cosmetics, but they’re not usually offered for free. There’s a new chance to get one for free… well, free with a paid purchase pretty soon. The Eternal Razorwing Pickaxe. A bit of a mouthful, but an interesting design that should match up with plenty of skins in player lockers.

This new Pickaxe is a special exclusive item, although not the traditional type of free Fortnite cosmetic. Instead, this one is being given away when you make a purchase. If you’re buying V-Bucks (potentially for a different skin, Battle Pass, or something else), then this is a chance to get some extra V-Bucks alongside it.

The current promotion is a bit specific though. Players won’t receive it for buying V-Bucks through the normal way, in the in-game store. Instead, they’ll need to do it physically, how can you get the Eternal Razorwing Pickaxe in-game?

How to Get New Eternal Razorwing Pickaxe

A new item is coming with recent Fortnite updates, the Eternal Razorwing Pickaxe. This is a special deal available through the rest of the month. Players will have to redeem a gift card for v-Bucks during the period. However, it has to be done through the Epic website V-Bucks site, not the general methods you might use. It’ll also have to be a V-Buck card, and not a standard V-Bucks purchase through the item shop.

That’s all you’ll need to do to get it. After this, you should unlockt he pickaxe pretty soon, with it credited to your account. There’s a time limit to the promotion to keep in mind too. Players only have until April 27th to get their hands on it. If you redeem a code after that, you won’t get the pickaxe.

Can You Unlock it If You Miss the Window?

If you miss the time window, what can you do to get the Eternal Razorwing Pickaxe afterwards? You can still get it. But not as a bonus.

Once the time window is up, the Pickaxe will simply enter the normal item shop rotation. Players will have to spend V-Bucks to unlock it then, not just get it when they add V-Bucks. It’ll definitely be worthwhile doing a top up if you want to get the Pickaxe. There’s the rest of the month to unlock it.
