Fortnite FNCS Icon Cups Coming to the Game with Tournaments
This week, after the conclusion to the last FNCS, we’ve seen a batch of new skins announced along with the Fortnite FNCS Icon Cups. These are going to be new versions of Fortnite Icon Skins but re-patterned to celebrate the FNCS. Each of the included skins is coming with this fresh update and players have a chance to win it instead of going through the Item Shop.
The Fortnite Icon Series skins are a fun mix of real-life figures in the game as skins. These include Fortnite streamers, musicians, but also pro players. A couple of skins are already here for the most iconic Fortnite players. We don’t know when they’ll be coming to the item shop, but we do know there’s going to be an opportunity to win them through a tournament first. This is what’s coming with the FNCS Icon Cups:
FNCS Icon Cups Coming for New Skins
With the FNCS Major 2 wrapped up, we’re getting a new batch of skins coming to celebrate the top pro players. Epic has announced a new version of the Bugha skin, with a special FNCS Champion theme. Bugha got an Icon skin a little while ago, but he’s still a competitor at the top of the game.

Bugha’s Champion outfit will be coming as a fresh skin, but it’ll be earnable through a new cup too. Players can compete in a Cash Cup style tournament, the Buugha’s Cup to earn it. It’s happening on May 5th. Ussually these tournaments are one day events, with players earning points over a single session with the top batch getting the skin or free.

The other skin that’s coming is a bit different, it’s a version of Clix. Now despite putting in a fantastic performance in the last Major, Clix still only came in 2nd. Despite that, the new skin is going to FNCS Champion Clix! This one has also been announced with a new Cup. That’s going to start on May 3rd, just a day or so after the new season starts! This will keep some tournaments happening over the first few weeks of next season.
