Fortnite Battle Pass Changes Coming Next Season

Ahead of the launch of the next season, we’ve been getting a lot more information about what’s coming with Fortnite. While we might be going back to Chapter 2 for a month, there are plenty of new changes coming, including some key Fortnite Battle Pass changes.

The Battle Pass is central to gameplay in Fortnite, a pass to grind upward. You unlock more cosmetics, if you get the premium tier that even includes tons of skins. However, unlocking them has always been quite structured. Players usually need to complete quests and play consistently to unlock what they want.

Starting soon, some Fortnite Battle Pass changes are coming into effect. For one thing, these changes will allow players to combine the Passes for each of Fortnite’s different modes, like Lego Fortnite. However, it’ll also allow players to pick and choose their rewards a bit more. These ae the changes that are coming according to Fortnite leakers.

New Fortnite Battle Pass Changes Coming Soon

The Fortnite Battle Pass has been a central part of the experience for nearly all Fortnite seasons. With the next big update, we’ll see some changes though. Starting with the core way we interact with the pass, Battle Stars are on the way out.

Rather than unlocking stars to unlock cosmetics, players will just unlock them as they progress through the levels. Taking out the middle man. One nice part about Battle Star was being able to pick the order that you unlocked rewards, at least up in what you unlock on every few pages before claiming all to progress.

With this change, that won’t be possible anymore. However, anyone who purchased levels is getting a new way to do that. Players will now be able to purchase individual rewards from the pass. If you only want one skin, you can get that without having to go through the entire pass. This is one of the nicer Fortnite Battle Pass changes. However, we’re not 100% sure how this will work in practice just yet. It does line up with Battle Pass exclusivity being ditched though.

All Passes Are Coming to One Place

At the moment, Fortnite has a lot of different passes. We’ve got the Battle Pass, the main one for Battle Royale. Then a Festival Pass operates on its own calendar. Along with a Lego Pass that pops up from time to time. Not everyone gets all of them, but if you do it can be a bit of a pain to keep track of.

Players have to earn three different types of currency to progress and they don’t count towards each other’s progress. This is getting simplified with the new Fortnite Battle Pass changes.

Players will progress through all passes at once, no matter what mode they’re playing. On top of that, you can get all the passes in one place, rather than constantly having to re-up on one pass or another! These changes are going to make it a lot easier to follow, especially if you’re the type of player who tries to collect all the Fortnite skins. The game has some interesting features coming up and we’ve only got days to wait until the next Fortnite season begins and we can see how everything is changing.
