Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 has been fully revealed! A major new update coming, with a unique schedule. It’s really quite similar what the leaks made out. It’s going to be a Fortnite Star Wars crossover again, now taking up an entire season. This will be a month-long mini event like Fortnite OG or Remix. Only, with a focus on the more casual Star Wars content.
The reveal has shown off a few major parts of the game. There’s going to be new features, like a Force Lightning power. Also, some new Star Wars POIs. Despite there already been enough Star Wars Fortnite skins to fill a lobby, they have found a few more characters to bring in. Including some creative takes. These are the big reveals we’ve learned about Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3.

A good handful of returning items are expected for the new season, particularly lightsabers. These will be the same items, but a new force power seems to be coming with Lightning. Then there’s the Blasters we normally get for Star Wars. We can probably expect a different version of the energy guns to get added too.

With Fortnite returning to Star Wars, we’re getting some new vehicles. These will be takes on the old Planes, which have always been a unique way to get around. There’s going to be tie fights and X-Wings. Hopefully they don’t repeat the mistakes of the old planes or the vehicle combat focus of the last “Season 3”.

Quite a few minor spots have been shown off so far. We’re expecting bigger POIs as an Imperial Base on the map, along with a dessert area to match the many planets in Star Wars.
The AT-AT walker is going to be making an appearance on the Fortnite map. Collapsed and tipped over, now turned into a little restaurant.

A bunch of new Skins are coming for Fortnite. These will include some new Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass skins, but also a handful for the shop like Mace Windu. We’ve seen these shown off a bit, but have to wait until the update to get a full look at the characters.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 is going to begin on May 3rd! That’s when the current Fortnite season goes into downtime. Players will be able to download the new season and check out all the changes either late May 3rd, or early on the 4th. Usually, new season launches are fairly smooth. Taking only an hour or so of downtime. It can get extended though.

Chapter 5 Season 2’s downtime got extended multiple times until it technically came out a day later than scheduled. Fortnite downtime has been quite excessive lately, with two lengthy bouts in the last week. Hopefully things are back to their normal schedule by the Chapter 6 Season 3 release date. However, we could always see unexpected delays.
