How to Get Fortnite Jack Sparrow Skin
A new Fortnite crossover is here, the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean collab. The centerpiece is probably predictable to anyone who remembers the franchise from its heyday in the early 2000s, a Fortnite Jack Sparrow skin. The pirate is coming to Fortnite as the main attraction in a new pass. How can players unlock this latest character in the game?

Fortnite Jack Sparrow Skin Added in New Update
The latest Fortnite update brings us back from the summer event, what’s Epic’s been cooking for the last few days of the season though? The big part is the Fortnite Pirates of the Caribbean event. There’s a new Mythic item, some unvaulted classics, and skins all over the Item Shop already. But maybe the most popular character isn’t available straight for V-Bucks. To get the Fortnite Jack Sparrow skin, you’ll have to go through an Events Pass.
In recent seasons Epic has taken to including these once per season. They function similarly to a Battle Pass. You need to purchase the pass to get the skin for a start. After that, you have to complete specific quests in-game to move through the Pass. You get more cosmetics as you go, as well as eventually unlocking the skin!
The Fortnite Jack Sparrow skin has already been in the game for a while. Epic accidentally turned the pass one early a few weeks ago. Those who got lucky in its brief window already have the skin. For everyone else, they had to wait to unlock the Fortnite Jack Sparrow skin.
When is the Pass Available?
Some aspects of the new Fortnite collab are already active in the game. If you’ve got V-Bucks to spend, you can already pick up a handful of other characters from the Pirates films. However, the pass is taking a little longer. This along with the Fortnite Jack Sparrow skin won’t be released until Friday. Once we hit the end of the week, it’ll go live and players can unlock the new skin. This is also when all of the content will be in the game, including quests.
It’s not long to wait until a full pirate takeover of Fortnite! Even if you’re not picking up the skin, these quests are always a great way to cram that end-of-season XP in.
