Fortnite leak shows upcoming metal band live concert in Chapter 5 Season 3
Another live Fortnite concert is reportedly coming to Chapter 5 Season 3. According to the latest leaks, one of the biggest bands of all time is slated to give a virtual performance in the game. This is not an uncommon thing for the battle royale. They have worked extensively with artists and their music, and plenty have performed for players all across the world. Thanks to Festival mode, more artists get involved with Epic Games’ smash hit than ever before, and one of them will be giving players a show soon.

Leak suggests popular metal band is getting a live Fortnite concert
According to ShiinaBR, one of the most renowned leakers in the gaming community, Metallica is slated to perform in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3. They went so far as to say that this was confirmed and cited a game file being accidentally left out. This file read, “Used in CH5S3 Metallica Concert.” That certainly does leave nothing to the imagination when it comes to what is theoretically planned next.
This is still a Fortnite leak, so it can always change. It’s not confirmed until Epic Games announces it, or it happens in Fortnite. However, most leaks do not come with as much detail as this one, so players can expect there to be a Metallica concert by the time this season ends. Chapter 5 Season 3 goes through the middle of August. By then, fans should have seen an epic Metallica concert.
Other Fortnite Concerts
Metallica is not the first and they will not be the last performing artist to do a show in Fortnite. The first was with Marshmello, who played for 10 minutes in Chapter 1 Season 7. Travis Scott had a live concert in 2020, and it’s still to this day one of the most popular events the game has seen. Diplo had an event in Chapter 2 Season 2. In Chapter 2 Season 7, Ariana Grande performed as part of the Rift Tour Event. At the conclusion of Fortnite OG, Eminem briefly performed as well. There have been plenty of musical performances in Fortnite, and that seems poised to continue with Metallica next.
