The Fortnite Reload loot pool is a fun mixture of what’s been the meta in the past for Fortnite! Right now, there’s a decent mix of items, including quite a few from Chapters 2. We’ve just seen one of the biggest updates to come to Fortnite Reload yet, with the Slurp Rush update. It’s close to a Chapter 2 for Fortnite Reload! The big appeal is probably the new map. However, the game mode has also had a refresh to its items. There’s a bit of a different Fortnite Reload loot pool or players to discover over coming weeks.
While normal Battle Royale Fortnite is in a new Chapter with its new forms of weapons, and OG is back in Season 3, Reload is always a fun mish-mash of different eras. At the moment, it’s primarily a Chapter 2 inspired period. Which is nice break after Reload focused on older content, and then weapons from the middle Chapters.
This latest update has been one of the most exciting. The loot pool is in an interesting place now. It is clearly bringing back more older items, but there’s still a chaotic mix. We’ve got little seen guns like the Red-Eye Assault Rifle back in the loot pool with the latest Fortnite update. This is what the current Fortnite Reload weapons looks like.

The most recent Fortnite update was entirely focused on Fortnite Reload! Players can discover a brand new map, but also a new mix of weapons. Some of the headline additions include items like the Jetpack. Not often seen in Battle Royale and exciting to have back in Reload.

There’s everything in the Fortnite Reload loot pool right now! There’s quite a few Exotics in Reload and Mythics too, but these are only available in very small quantities, you can’t really bank on them showing up in chests. They largely haven’t been changed since the big update either, the same chaotic mix is still in the game.
The proper guns in the Fortnite Reload loot pool are the ones you’ll find in all the chests, these are the ones you’ll need to build your game around.

There’s been some pretty big changes. The loot pool in a lot of ways has gone back to a more basic early Fortnite build, with recent additions vaulted. It’s not strictly a Chapter 2 loadout though. You can still find some of the best more recent Fortnite guns, like first person assault rifles. With tests going on for Reload Fortnite esports tournaments again, it’ll be interesting to see how the new Fortnite Reload loot pool plays.
