There could be a Fortnite x Scott Pilgrim crossover in the works. It should not be totally surprising if and when Epic Games taps any television show, video game, comic book, or other form of media for collaboration at this point.
Pretty soon, the list of brands not included in the metaverse will be shorter than the one of included entities. Anything is possible now, and that evidently includes the hit movie that recently got an anime spin-off.

Scott Pilgrim is one of the most popular movies from the 2000s, and it just had an animated show. It originated as a comic as well. Per a recent Fortnite leak, the creator of the character(s) is open to working with the game. SamLeakss on X revealed that Bryan Lee O’Malley, the original comic artist and creator, would be open to a crossover. He reportedly revealed that in a recent Q&A session.
Scott Pilgrim now exists in three forms of media, and all three are the typical Fortnite collaborators. It was a comic book, and there are plenty of those in the game.
There are already comic book characters like Spider-Man, Magneto, Batman, The Joker, and others. However, there are also literal Fortnite comic books. It was also a movie, and movies are a frequent crossover option for Fortnite. Spider-Man: No Way Home, Pirates of the Caribbean, Snake Eyes, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, and so many other movies have gotten the treatment.
Now, it’s an animated television show as well. That puts it right up Epic Games’ alley. They’ve brought in Rick and Morty characters as well as those from Naruto, My Hero Academia, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Family Guy, Hawkeye, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and so many other shows have been well-represented in the Item Shop and more. It remains to be seen how Epic feels about Scott Pilgrim, but there is certainly a possible relationship forming there.
