Outlaw Midas Release Date

The big question with the Outlaw Midas bonus skin is when can we unlock him! He was added to the game with the update that came on March 11th. This has made it an earlier Bonus skin. However, he is central to the game’s theme. The quests don’t seem like they’ll take all season to complete either. Although, that’s just the first style and set of cosmetics. We’re still waiting for the alternative style to get added alongside it.

We’ve also seen some changes with how the Bonus Skin unlocks in recent seasons. Last season tried out a totally unique unlock system. Players had to gain account levels. However, it’s been reverted this season. We’re back to the traditional method of unlocking a bonus skin this time.

How to Unlock the Bonus Skin

With the latest Fortnite update, we’ve got the new Midas skin unlocked in-game! Outlaw Midas is collectable from completing a batch of in-game quests. It’s returned to the older method for unlocking a bonus skin. However, this will mean it’s quite a bit quicker. Once you complete the quests, you’ll get the new skin. These are the new challenges you’ll need to unlock:

Golden Gunslinger Quests

  • Eliminate Fletcher Kane or Guards from his Pack – 20
  • Dela 100 Damage to Opponents with a single Shotgun Blast – 3
  • Collect or Spend Bars in a Single Match – 1,500
  • Travel Distance on Grindable Rails – 200
  • Open Vaults – 3
  • Collect Different Medallions or Boons – 4

The second drop of content isn’t coming until March 18th. That will be when we’ll see the alternative style for Midas drop!
