The Travis Scott Fortnite skins were originally added back in 2020, to coincide with the Fortnite concert for the artist. Is Travis Scott Coming back to Fortnite?
One big question fans always ask about this set of skins at the moment; is Travis Scott coming back to Fortnite? It’s been gone a long time at this point. Lately, Epic has been bringing back quite a few older skins. Including collab skins which could have been held up because of a rights issue. Players have found old, long missing skins like Psycho Bandit have come back to the shop. So, is Travis Scott next?
The big thing that we’d normally see as a warning sign for something coming back like this is their section in the Item Shop getting updated. Old skins that haven’t been sold since UI changes usually get new sections added for when they’re in the store. They can’t just show back up how they were at original release, they need bringing up to date. This was how Fortnite leakers figured out Psycho Bandit was coming back, and why players were expecting Kratos to return for such a long time too. So far, we haven’t seen Travis Scott get updated for the item shop.
In the future it could happen, but right now there’s no indication that Travis Scott is coming back to Fortnite anytime soon. As far as we know, it’s still the artist or their management who is holding things up. They don’t want to re-licence the skins to appear in the game. This could be a change of heart about the collab, or even just that they’re not trying to appeal to the same audience anymore and things like Fortnite collabs don’t really fit in with their new strategy. It doesn’t seem like Travis Scott is coming back to Fortnite anytime soon. It could surprise us, but there’s no reason to expect it to arrive in the immediate future.
When are the Travis Scott Fortnite Skins Coming Back?
The big question with the Travis Scott Fortnite skins aren’t what was added, but when they’ll be back. Right now, it doesn’t look like they’ll return any time soon.
Players didn’t have much urgency with the skins originally, there was no reason to think they’d be gone forever. However, in the years since they’ve become some of the rarest Fortnite skins. There are some clear reasons behind the skins absence too, which for once goes beyond Epic just not choosing to cycle them back in anytime soon.
Why Has it Been Gone so Long?

Source: Epic
The Travis Scott Fortnite skins have come to be a bit more important to some players over time. Largely because of how rare they’ve become. For a while the reason behind them being taken away was a mystery. Some speculated it was due to the Astroworld concert’s stage collapse. However, in the year since Epic has made things a bit clearer.
We’ve heard that they haven’t come back because of a rights issue. Travis Scott or his representation just aren’t interested in allowing the skins to return. Which explains why there’s no songs from the artist in Festival tracks either.
Even in the Live Event at the end of Fortnite Remix, Travis Scott was weirdly absent. A song featuring him was performed, but he was represented by a weird ghost version of a character. Pretty much confirming the artist wants nothing to do with Fortnite right now.
We could possibly see the Travis Scott Fortnite skins come back if the artist changes his mind. However, at the moment things don’t look too bright.
