When Does Adventure Time Come to Fortnite?
One of the big new collabs will be here very soon, now with a ton of skins leaked, but when is Adventure Time coming to Fortnite? Like a lot of major collabs, the build-up has happened quickly. With leaks pointing towards the characters coming very soon, and now the files apparently all lined up for a release soon. Epic is even officially teasing the Adventure Time Fortnite skins. But when exactly is the release?
Usually with skin releases like this, we’ve got the idea that they’re coming to the item shop but no official date. The item shop rotation happens every day, but we just don’t know what’s arriving exactly on a day-to-day level. For the Fortnite Adventure Time skins, we actually have a good idea of what to expect and when they’ll come to the game. This is what we know so far:

When is Adventure Time Coming to Fortnite?
We’re expecting Adventure Time to come to Fortnite around April 11th. So far, we’ve seen a teaser for them which should mean they’re in line to drop pretty quickly.
Although, sometimes skins get held longer than planned. Epic’s teaser does include an exact release date, Friday April 11th. So we can most likely expect Adventure Time to release at this point.
All Fortnite Adventure Time Skins
The new Adventure Time skins have come to Fortnite, at least for those looking under the hood at the game’s files! Thanks to dataminers, we’ve got a good look at all of the Fortnite Adventure Time skins that are arriving over the next few days. These look like a particularly interesting set. We’ve got all the characters expected in the leaks, but their designs are definitely unique for Fortnite.

The skins have seen a few adaptations to fit into the world of Fortnite. We’ve got Jake the Dogg, with some slightly stretched out limbs. Jake in Adventure Time can stretch himself, and does look like this from time to time, so it makes sense here. Then there’s Finn, who is just generally enlarged. This was to be expected with how he’s been designed and Fortnite’s requirements for height from characters. Their legs and proportions weren’t exactly designed to stand with the best Fortnite skins and look normal.
The other two skins have designs which can fit into Fortnite a bit better. Bubblegum and Marceline are both on the taller side, but they have outfits which hide the changes a little bit.
The choice of gliders and other items are just as fun. Jake’s glider is himself stretched out into a giant balloon! These are all fun additions and it seems Epic’s worked around the size limitations in quite a creative way.
Since the skins are already in the game and ready to go, it looks like we’re very close to their release. They’ll likely make that April 11th release date. The Adventure Time skins should come to Fortnite for players to purchase starting from the next item shop refresh.
What’s Coming?
These skins definitely represent the world of Adventure Time pretty expansively. It’s missing the Ice King, the other major part of the cast. Although, the other four will be a big enough challenge to fit into the Fortnite hitbox standard, before we get to a strangely shaped character like Ice King.
The collab is coming after Warner Bros has shifted their approach to their IP. Moving from using characters like Jake and Finn in their own games like MultiVersus, over to bringing them into Fortnite. It’s actually the second major Warner Bros collab this season, so it seems they’re wasting no time getting their characters into Battle Royale.
