HAWKED was announced back in November 2022 as a free-to-play shooter title for PC and consoles. Since then, the game has undergone several alpha tests and is currently in an open beta. If you are wondering when HAWKED, the unique PvPvE title will release, here’s everything we know about it.

What is the release date for HAWKED?

HAWKED was released in Early Access on February 15th, 2024. It’s an early access release date, but you can jump in and play the title on Steam.

Early Access is a bit of a tricky title though. For some games, it truly means a limited test. A rougher version of the game with something more fleshed out coming down the line. other titles like Fortnite have existed in Early Access for years. So while it isn’t the full title’s release date, we can say we’re past the HAWKED release date in one form.

The full launch for the game might not be too far away either. The game is currently getting close to release on the console too.

When Will HAWKED Release on PlayStation?

The Hawked release date for PlayStation players will be May 10-12.

This will be a playtest. However, after this, we can expect the game to arrive in full pretty soon.

What is HAWKED?

A quick look at the trailer for HAWKED shows that the game design and art resemble Fortnite. Despite this, the game has a different concept.

In this extraction shooter, players drop into X-Isle, which is touted as a “mysterious island” crawling with monsters. Players need to fight monsters and other enemies and get to the escape zone. First, you need to gather supplies to take on enemies in the map. The environment features a hybrid environment consisting of mountains, jungles, and temples for players to explore.

The map is also filled with puzzles and traps, which players can complete to get treasure and other items. Extraction shooters are a popular genre right now. It’s one that often tends towards the darker and gritty style though like Grey Zone Warfare. HAWKED is a fresh lighter take on this type of gameplay.
