Aphelios Skins in League of Legends – All Skins Ranked!

Aphelios is one of the more unique champions in League of Legends. This champion cycles through different weapons which all have their own unique ability. On top of that, each weapon only has 50 auto attacks before it runs out and moves to the next weapon. Aphelios doesn’t have many skins yet, given he has been a newer champion over the past couple of years. Nevertheless, we have still ranked the ones available.

Here are all of the Aphelios skins in League of Legends:

From time to time, Riot likes to bring skins to the LoL World Championship. In this case, Aphelios became part of the highly popular Heartsteel band, the first boy band in League of Legends. Aphelios along with many League of Legends champions performed in the opening ceremony of the 2023 League of Legends World Championship.

Heartsteel Aphelios is available for purchase in the official League of Legends store, with a price tag of 1350 Riot Points.

Lunar Beast Aphelios

Lunar Beast Aphelios was a skin introduced to celebrate Riot’s annual Lunar New Year celebrations. This is pretty cool skin, as it gives Aphelios a real-life appearance, as opposed to being a mythical being from a distant realm.

Unfortunately for fans, this skin is not available for purchase anymore in the official League of Legends store. This was a limited-time event skin, and the only way players will be able to get this skin is through Hextech crafting.

Nightbringer Aphelios

With Aphelios being limited to only five skins thus far, despite his popularity as a champion, Nightbringer Aphelios is probably the more underwhelming skin out of his collection, which is disappointing given one of the best Yasuo skins was the Nightbringer. The skin didn’t really do anything to move the needle for me, if I was to purchase this skin. The in-game visuals for this skin are weak, and the sounds just don’t really do anything to call this a true Nightbringer skin, a skin line that elevated Yasuo to a whole new level.

Nevertheless, Nightbringer Aphelios is available to purchase in the League of Legends store for 1350 Riot Points.

Spirit Blossom Aphelios

In my opinion, Spirit Blossom Aphelios is the nicest skin in his small collection. It completely alters the way Aphelios is perceived in-game, which should be the objective for all League of Legends skins. When releasing a skin, you want to ensure players are getting their money’s worth by altering the appearance so much, that it is nothing like the original model.

Spirit Blossom Aphelios is available in the League of Legends store, and can be purchased for 1350 Riot Points.

EDG Aphelios

Getting your own skin in a video game is the highest honor for any professional player. It showcases your excellence and skill that is higher than the rest. In 2021, Edward Gaming claimed their first World Championship. Each Worlds winning player gets to choose a champion they played during the tournament as their skin, adding their own personal flair to the champion that took them to new heights. For EDG Viper, that champion was Aphelios.

Fortunately for fans, EDG Aphelios is still available on the market. Which is rare, as most LoL Worlds skins are no longer available, and have to be acquired through Hextech chests. EDG Aphelios can be purchased in the store for 1350 Riot Points.
