Best Mordekaiser Skins in League of Legends – Our Top 5 Favorites!

Mordekaiser is one of the older champions in League of Legends, and has remained a stable figure in the top lane after his rework a few years back. He was once one of the most popular champions in LoL even for the ADC position, but that was short lived. At the time of writing this article, Mordekaiser has 11 skins in total, some being part of the most famous skin lines.

But which are his best? Stay tuned to find out our top five favorite Mordekaiser skins.

Ashen Graveknight Mordekaiser

Ashen Knights are some of the rarest skins in LoL you see nowadays, mainly due to the fact many skins from this skin line are no longer available to purchase in the League of Legends store. Mordekaiser’s Ashen Graveknight skin is no different. This skin looks amazing, however, with the purple wings to emphasize that Mordekaiser is a mortal being.

The only way players can get this skin is through Hextech crafting and Your Shop events.

Dark Star Mordekaiser

Dark Star Mordekaiser is one of my personal favorite League of Legends skins to use on the champion when playing him. The sound effects for this skin are epic, especially when using his Q and his ultimate.

Mordekaiser was once a beloved member of the Cosmic Court. One day he vanished for reasons unknown until he returned in a form that was unrecognizable, with his task to destroy the kingdom he once built.

Dark Star Mordekaiser is available for purchase in the official League of Legends store for 1350 Riot Points.

High Noon Mordekaiser

This skin was released 2 weeks prior to the Mordekaiser rework. High Noon Mordekaiser has an incredible story, as do most of the champions that are brought into this mythical frontier world.

In the lore for this skin, Mordekaiser is part of the Devils and Demons group, a group that is feared across the world. According to the lore, very few get to hear tails of Mordekaiser, because those that did encounter the Mechanical Demon did not live to tell the tail. In this skin line, he is the King of Sulfar rail, residing over the train to hell.

Pentakill 3 Mordekaiser

From a mythical frontier land, to a rock band, Mordekaiser was part of the Pentakill rock band, a band that has performed numerous times at real-life League of Legends events.

In this world, he does not wield a giant weapon, he wields a giant guitar. In Pentakill, Mordekaiser holds the prestigious role as the lead guitarist for the band.

PROJECT: Mordekaiser

PROJECT skinline

If there was ever an old-school champion that could be brought into the futuristic world of the LoL PROJECT skins line, then it’s certainly Mordekaiser.

When looking at the splash art, he looks like a defensive robot, and a terrifying one at that. That is exactly what he is, a security AI robot that has gone rogue, a virus to be more specific. Mordekaiser was made to be controlled, but instead, he is the one controlling the narrative. Mordekaiser has determined that humans cannot survive on their own without causing their own destruction, which is why he takes matters into his own hands. To guarantee their survival, he has taken the form of Mordekaiser in his futuristic chassis.

PROJECT: Mordekaiser is available for purchase in the official League of Legends store for 1820 Riot Points.
