Is Kayle AP or AD in LoL?

Kayle is an AP who becomes an unstoppable demon in the late game, thanks to her insane kit. Once she hits that level 16 mark, be ready for hell for the rest of the game as she becomes almost impossible to kill as she draws multiple people to the sidelane.
She is a champion who needs to scale into the game to become relevant. Even if she gets some kills early, her strength comes from her passive. All of Kayle’s abilities scale with AP, so if you want to maximize her potential, build her correctly. Nashor’s Tooth is currently the best item on Kayle, and is featured in most, if not all, Kayle builds you can find.
Here are Kayle’s abilities in League of Legends:
- Divine Ascent (Passive): Kayle’s auto attacks rank up as she gains bonuses at levels 1, 6, 11, and 16. As they rank up, Kayle’s auto attacks increase in attack speed, range, AOE, and Magic Damage.
- Radiant Blast (Q): Kayle fires a celestial sword that stops at the first enemy it hits. This ability deals Magic Damage and slows the target, removing a percentage of Armor and Magic Resist for 4 seconds.
- Celestial Blessing (W): Kayle infuses herself and heals an allied champion, granting movement speed for 2 seconds.
- Starfire Spellblade (E): Passive: Kayle deals additional Magic Damage. Active: Kayle’s next auto-attack becomes ranged, dealing Magic Damage. This spell is upgraded when Kayle reaches level 11.
- Divine Judgement (R): Kayle makes herself or an allied champion invulnerable for 2.5 seconds and then purifies the area around them, dealing Magic Damage.
What Is The Difference Between AP and AD?
Attack Damage and Ability Power are the two primary stats used in League of Legends. Attack Damage exists in all Champions and determines a champion’s ‘basic attack’ damage without outside interference. Ability Power is the counterpart to attack damage, and unlike AD, AP is built on champions who function differently from AD champions, such as Mages and Casters.
