LoL Clash Schedule 2025 unveiled
Ever since its introduction, Clash was one of the most anticipated moments from the League of Legends community. With the removal of dynamic queues, the Clash tournament became the only way for the casual fanbase to experience a similar gaming experience to the top-level professional teams. By competing in 8-team brackets, the Clash Cup champions could also get access to special rewards like the Champie icons, valuable items that were only given to Clash tournament winners.
Update as of February 26, 2025: After initially announcing the reduction of Clash tournament to once every two months, Riot has listened to the community and has brought back the monthly schedule, meaning there will be a Clash tournament each month until the end of 2025.
Riot has kept the ARURF and ARAM Clashes which were implemented starting in 2024 to rotate game modes and make Clash more appealing to the casual fan base. The new schedule is yet to be announced so here are the ones that are already confirmed from the previous schedule. The new ones will be added once confirmed:
- ARURF Cup – March 1 & 2
- Summoner’s Rift Cup – April 19 & 20
- MSI Clash – June 21 & 22
- ARAM Cup – August 16 & 17
- Worlds Clash – October 18 & 19
- ARAM Cup 2 – December 13 & 14
Starting off with ARURF Clash
The first Clash of the year will be All Random Ultra Rapid Fire (ARURF) mode, which features low cooldowns and fast-paced gameplay. There will be then two traditional Clash cups, one of which will be themed around the Mid-Season Invitational from professional play. We will then switch to the ARAM Cup for the Summer, followed once again by the Worlds Clash for the year-end tournament, and once again by another ARAM Cup before ending 2025.
As a hardcore Summoners’ Rift lover who loved to see bits of competitive gameplay in Clash tournaments, it’s a bit disheartening to see the number of tournaments being lowered but it also feels like Clash lost a bit of its magic throughout the years, especially given the repeated issues whenever the event is online. Paired with the discussions around the removal of Hextech chests and other in-game rewards, it will be crucial to understand the interest in LoL Clash. Will you join the fray?
