You know what they say: quality takes time and requires patience. This time, I feel like Riot Games nailed it with their newest LoL Shepherd skins. Unlike some of the previous skins released earlier this year, and the incredible pricing on the Hall of Legends Ahri skins, the Shepherd skins look amazing, especially considering the pricing it has (which we will go into later).
So now the question is: will you be saving up some of those RPs you planned on using for the Ahri bundles to celebrate Faker? With how these skins look, it might be something worth considering. Before that, however, let’s go into all the details about this new skin line.
Usually, new skins come with several champions included yet this time around, Riot only released it for two champions. This is even lower compared to the minimum of three champion skins that are released in each new patch. Despite this, we said before that quality takes time, and two is fine in this case.
The two lucky champions who will be receiving the incredible Rain Shepherd skins are Milio and Fizz. There are currently no other champions mentioned, leaving us wondering who might be the next in line. Maybe someone cute and small, or some big guy turned into a cutie? Judging by the theme, you can slot anyone you like, as long as it’s well delivered.
Both champions will receive an Epic-tier skin, meaning that the price for the rain shepherd skins is 1350 RP. With how the visuals are, it looks like a bargain in recent times.
Just like every new skin release, we will be seeing the Rain Shepherd skins in the next update, LoL Patch 14.13, which is set to hit the live servers on Wednesday, June 26. Summer is coming up so we might get a new summer event soon – what do you think Riot will do this year?
