SK Gaming to renew contract with jungler Isma for 2025
With the EU representatives all out of Worlds, the LEC teams are making moves ahead of the offseason. SK Gaming has decided to sign a new deal with their jungler Isma for the upcoming 2025 season.
Isma has decided to stay with SK Gaming after exploring offers
According to a report by Sheep Esports, the Belgian jungler will be staying on SK’s lineup until November 2025. Despite exploring offers from teams such as GIANTX and Karmine Corp, Isma will continue to play for the German organization after debuting with them at the start of 2024.
With a competitive pool of jungle talents in Europe, Isma was able to “lock” his spot in LEC. There are several names who’s destination is yet to be confirmed, including veterans like Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski, and Théo “Sheo” Borile, as well as G2’s jungler Yike, who was given the approval to explore options after their elimination at Worlds 2024.
SK locks jungle and mid duo
The jungle player will team up with mid laner Steven “Reeker” Chen and work with the new staff formed by David “OWN3R” Rodriguez de la Torre and Mauro “Garih” Garih Vidal. For OWN3R, this will be the first time leading a team as a head coach.
The three remaining players for SK’s lineup are still to be confirmed. Top laner Irrelevant is set to join Team BDS which means SK will have to find a new player to replace him. In the bottom lane, instead, Rahel and Luon are contracted until 2025 which means they might stay on the squad for another year.
With the transfer window still one month away, there are more pieces of the puzzle to be filled. That said, SK Gaming seems to have found its core as they are looking to achieve stronger results in the new season.
