SoloQ Challenge Battle – the return of the format
Following a strong success from the previous year, Riot Games granted renowned French streamer and OTP caster Jean “Trayton” Medzadourian to host the SoloQ Challenge once again.
Taking place from September 3rd to 24th, it will be a big event where players will be able to show their performance in a solo queue as they fight for a cash prize pool and the chance to win the challenge.
The challenge consists of becoming the best player by scoring the highest amount of LPs for your team as they will be competing with fellow streamers and pros. Fans will be able to track all the results in real time through a dedicated website.
The addition of teams
The soloQ Challenge battle comes with a big addition this year, with players divided into teams and led by captains such as Kamel “Kameto” Kebir (KCorp’s owner), César “Wakz” Hugues, Dylan “Tiky” Sorrentino, and Trayton himself. Each captain has handpicked his 10 players as they will be collaborating to hit the most amount of points for their own team.
Among the prizepool, there will be a 10,000 euro cash prize for the highest LP scorer, with each role giving the top player an extra reward (500 euro). Additionally, each player on the winning team will also get a share of a 5,500 euro prizepool.
