LCS 2024 Spring Split: Top Plays of Week 3
The revamped LCS is off to a strong start. Newly implemented features such as live-patch matches, streamlined game downtime, and improved fan interactions mean that North America’s premier series is ready to deliver better games—and better plays—than ever before.
With the past two days of action-packed League still fresh in our minds, here are our top plays from Week 3 of the 2024 LCS season.

Jojopyun’s Four-Man Pop Blossom
When it comes to landing massive ults, no one does it better than C9’s Jojopyun. In this clip, FlyQuest lead 12 to 4 as champion bounties are stacked and the team fight is looking one-sided. While C9 struggle to contest space outside their open base, a recently spawned Neeko gets a sneaky teleport off behind the action; one Flash and R cooldown later and the young mid laner has scored his team an ace.
While this play is unfortunately not enough to win them the game, Jojopyun proves once again why grouping up against him is a risk you don’t want to take.
Jensen’s Tristana Quadra Kill
Jensen is on Tristana, the Cloud Drake’s up for grabs, and neither team is budging in this clip from FlyQuest’s match with Dignitas.
With DIG low and out of position, FLY’s mid laner eyes an opportunity to lock and load as he secures his first reset. A single Rocket Jump leads into several as the three-time LCS champion rains down cannon fire, nabbing a quadra for himself and an objective for his team. This was Jensen’s first pick of the Yordle Gunner in the 2024 season, and judging by his final K/D/A of 9/0/2, it won’t be his last.
Massu & Busio’s Bot Lane Domination
With both being named winners of the Most Valuable Prospect title, it’s no wonder that FlyQuest’s bot lane rookies Massu and Busio are making waves this split. Forming a deadly duo by the nickname of “Massio”, this talented ADC and support pair have proven themselves worthy to be feared in their match against C9.
A nail-biting 2v2 leans in FLY’s favor as Busio’s excellent Nautilus play keeps Massu alive long enough to secure the kill on Berserker. Still hungry for more, Busio then finishes the fight by landing a down-town Dredge Line onto Vulcan, winning the engage and proudly demonstrating the bot lane difference.
Bwipo’s Olaf Killing Spree
Sporting a career-wide win rate of 60% on the champion, FlyQuest’s Bwipo is certainly not afraid to brandish the twin axes and ride into Valhalla as Olaf.
In this clip from their faceoff against 100 Thieves, a favorable Drake fight presents Bwipo with the perfect opportunity to go all-in. With a low 100T left powerless to stop him, the rampaging top laner charges into the fray and takes down four. Though Viking raids are a thing of the past, it seems that North America will have to keep an eye out on the horizon for Bwipo this split.
Bvoy’s Base Defense Quadra
Can’t get enough of quadra kills this split?
Worry not, as in Shopify Rebellion’s match against Dignitas, Bvoy delivers. In this clip, SR’s ADC makes a final stand as a five-man siege encroaches on his home base. Popping Infernal cinders from DIG like candy from pinatas, Bvoy’s Kalista dances across the battlefield to shut down the would-be intruders. He eventually falls, but not before securing the four-piece—no Nexus will be taken while this multi award-winning bot laner is still breathing.
Blaber & Jojopyun’s Shockwave Delivery
Facing off against long-time LCS staple Dignitas, C9’s Blaber and Jojopyun prove why there’s no champion synergy quite like Nocturne and Orianna. As the two teams contest vision near the Baron pit, DIG make a fatal mistake in grouping much too close for comfort. Nocturne’s Paranoia is popped, The Ball is attached, and C9 score a four-man Shockwave.
As if this disastrous wombo combo was not enough, top laner Fudge lands a devastating Equalizer follow-up, cooking Dignitas and sealing the match.
huhi the Unkillable Support King
Though he was once known as one of the best Aurelion Sol players to ever grace the mid lane, the France-born huhi now holds a different renown as a support for NRG. In this clip from their match with FlyQuest.
Huhi is caught off guard as a three-man ambush is sprung on NRG’s Kalista-Rell botlane.
Brushing off the onslaught like a morning breeze, huhi counter-engages on a sliver of health, earning his team a double kill and firmly putting the “tank” in tank support.
Sniper’s Solo-Kill Debut
Though young Riven-extraordinaire Sniper made waves playing his iconic champ during opening week. It’s safe to say that the 100 Thieves rookie isn’t done with the spotlight yet. Facing off against NRG, Sniper once again shows his skill as he wrestles a solo-kill from veteran top laner Dhokla.
With an ambitious tower dive leaving his K’Sante at 80 health and one kill up, Sniper proves yet again that he can battle with the best of them, setting expectations high as his LCS debut reaches Week 3.
Here Comes Armao’s Lillia
With two teammates down against Shopify Rebellion, Immortals’ teamfight is looking rough in this clip. That is until Armao’s Lillia joins the fray, that is. Finishing off SR’s mid laner and landing a two-man sleep against their support and top, IMT’s jungler wreaks DoT havoc as he prances from one enemy to the next.
Blooming Blows land and “Eeps!” fly as Armao single-handedly secures his team the 3v5, reminding Shopify why exactly they should fear the deer.
Playing on the live patch sure has its benefits. We hope week four delivers in spades.
