LoL Worlds 2024 song – Who is singing?
The LoL World Championship Anthem has always been one of the most anticipated moments for fans all around the world. Not only does it create hype ahead of the tournament but it’s also a celebratory moment for both players and the entire LoL community. Throughout the years, Riot Games has tackled different genres and collaborated with various artists, including popular singers like G-IDLE for K/DA and Lil Nas X, with many of them becoming legendary anthems that people listen to non-stop.
This year, Worlds will be heading back to Europe for the first time since 2019, when Riot Games brought out their own Phoenix (ft. Cailin Russo e Chrissy Costanza), which has gained over 150 million views on YouTube. If you need to refresh your memory, check out all previous Worlds songs.
But who will take the lead in singing the World 2024 anthem? This is what we know.
Linkin Park – the crossover with League of Legends
With the tournament officially underway, Linkin Park was revealed as the group behind the Worlds 2024 song. Earlier this month, the group made a comeback with new singer Emily Armstrong. After being inactive for nearly seven years, the group returned with a new album and even announced a world tour.
But what caught fans’ attention was the official lolesports Twitter/X account replying to the band’s live debut of the new single, “The Emptiness Machine”. In the tweet, Riot Games’ account replied with a crown emoji. After speculations hinting at a song from the upcoming Album titled “Heavy is the Crown”, the song was revealed on September 24.

In previous years, Riot Games has also worked with Mike Shinoda, one of the founding members of Linkin Park. Shinoda was present at the Global Premiere of Arcane back in 2021. And with Arcane Season 2 making a return this year, this is probably one of the most hyped collaborations that cover the entire game’s ecosystem.
