Entity7 lone survivor of MLBB MSC 2024’s inaugural day
Blood was shed on Day 1 of the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024 as three teams found themselves going home from Saudi Arabia. With the Wildcard Stage having a brutal do-or-die format, only Entity7 could make it past the group stage but still face one more hurdle before they could reach the main stage.

3 teams eliminated from the MLBB MSC 2024 as Entity7 survive
The Wildcard Stage of the MLBB MSC 2024 is happening from June 28 to 30 with eight teams competing for a single slot to the main event. These teams have been evenly split into two Groups: A and B. On Day 1, Group A played all of their matches with Entity7 coming out on top.
The team will now face the winner of Group B on June 30 in an intense best-of-five series to decide who will go on to the main stage.
The main storyline of Group A, however, was KeepBest Gaming, the Chinese representative. With the game only recently being approved and released in the country, albeit with a lesser number of heroes.
In the opening game, against Turkey’s S2G Esports, KBG showed why China is such a force to be reckoned with in mobile esports. They were able to wrap up the game in just 13 minutes and 25 seconds – getting the region’s hopes up for qualification to the main event.
That dream, however, was shattered after back-to-back losses against Zino Zenith and Entity7. Not all is lost, though, as China’s other representative Xianyou Gaming will be competing in the main event.
For Entity7, hailing from Peru, Group A tested them but failed to break the squad. All three of their games were close, and no one could predict the eventual winner. In fact, if it wasn’t for the brutal best-of-one format, many wonder what the result might have been.
Wildcard Stage Day 2 Overview
On Day 2 of the MLBB MSC 2024 Wildcard Stage, Group B will fight for the other spot in the Decider Finals. The contestants – Brute Force (CIS), HomeBois (Malaysia), IHC Esports (Mongolia), and Trained to Kill (Nepal) – will all be vying for the spot. This is the first time the MSC is happening outside SEA, and for many of these players – it’s their first international tournament.
Therefore, with the best-of-one format, it all could depend on who holds their nerves at Boulevard Riyadh City.
