Falcons dominate in the Grand Finals to win the tournament

Falcons had been performing well since the first stage of the tournament. However, they weren’t able to win many matches. With a fast-paced game like Free Fire, getting the ‘BOOYAH!’ is crucial for winning tournaments. But, the Falcons relied more on consistency thus finishing behind the likes of Buriram and Reverse Red in the overall standings of the Knockout Stage.

This performance was replicated by the Falcons in the Points Rush phase as well. Thus, coming into the Finals, Buriram was the heavy favorite.

But, the Falcons showed the world what they were cooking with an absolutely dominant performance across the six matches of the Grand Finals. They finished in the top five in all of the matches, besides two first-place games. This allowed the team to finish in first place.
However, the standout team in the standings was Vietnam’s P Esports. Free Fire esports in SEA is dominated by Thailand, and this was expected in the Grand Finals too.

However, P Esports, with the home crowd support, put up a surprising and underdog performance to come in second place, qualifying for the Esports World Cup in the process as well.
