Honor of Kings Global Release Date: When does it come out?

Honor of Kings is one of the most-played mobile games in the world, despite being available in China and a few other regions. Now, the game is set to expand its popularity with its highly anticipated global release. After a long beta period, the developer has finally announced the global release date for Honor of Kings.

What is the Honor of Kings Global Release Date?

Currently, the game is available to play in certain regions like Brazil, the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey. Timi Studio has confirmed that the game will be launching worldwide on June 20.

Players around the world can currently pre-register for the title on the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. The players who pre-register will receive a free hero and skin when the game is released. Additionally, there are pre-registration milestone rewards for players as well.

Timi Studio justified its decision to launch the game in a phased manner by saying that it wanted to “source feedback” from a wider audience before its eventual launch. Additionally, the slow launch will allow the developer to localize the game into multiple languages. This includes hero voicing by local talent across English, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, and Arabic. More languages will be added after the global launch.

Additionally, as the game gears up for a global launch, Honor of Kings has already announced ambitious esports plans including a $15 million investment into growing the game globally. This includes four global LAN events in 2024 alone. So far, the Honor of Kings Invitational S1 has wrapped up in Turkey. The next event is S2 of the Invitational, set to happen in Malaysia with a $300,000 prize pool.

Pre-registrations for Honor of Kings are currently open on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Players who pre-register for the free-to-play game will receive the following rewards:

  • Ying, one of the game’s iconic Heroes
  • Ying’s Crimson Tassel skin
  • 500 Diamonds
  • 2000 Arcana Fragments
  • 5000 Coins
  • A free trial of all Heroes for a limited period
