MOONTON has announced the details of the MLBB Project NEXT for June 2024. Project NEXT is an initiative to bring big changes to the game periodically based on player feedback. This time, the equipment system is being upgraded, which will make it more beginner-friendly, but usher in a more high-intensity experience for veteran players. Additionally, MLBB Project Next (June 2024) is set to bring a new hero as well.

Equipment System is being revamped in MLBB

In last year’s Project NEXT, a major emblem revamp was implemented to make it more fluid. Similarly, this time, MOONTON is implementing the same concept in the new equipment system.

As a part of this, heroes with certain equipment optimizations will have an added layer of adapted attributes. This means that instead of following a particular optimization, it will be more fluid now.

Furthermore, the heroes’ roles are also being optimized to make it easier for beginners to recognize the distinctions.

While these changes will benefit beginners by making the game more entry-friendly, there is something for hardcore players as well. Major changes are being made to each lane, especially with different equipment. The full list of changes hasn’t been revealed yet, but MOONTON has revealed what’s new in the Thunder Belt. Every few seconds, this item will now deal additional true damage from basic attacks based on Hybrid Defense to the target and surrounding enemies. This will certainly make the action at the MSC 2024 much more exciting.

MLBB Project NEXT (June 2024) update brings a new hero

Perhaps the most exciting part of the upcoming update is the new hero. Currently, MOONTON hasn’t revealed anything about the hero, but has mentioned that they will have an “ability to control teamfights.” It could be that the new hero is a tank or support.
