Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing unveils new lineup for F1 Esports Pro Championship
For the first time in two years, Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing will have new faces in their team going into the 2023/2024 season.
Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing came second last season
The team is looking to reclaim the Teams Championship after finishing second last season behind McLaren Shadow. Frederik Rasmussen is the returning driver from the previous season and he’s no stranger to the sim racing community:
“After narrowly missing out on the Drivers’ Championship last year, I am more determined than ever to win. We have a strong line-up to challenge for the Teams title too. It should be a good season.”
To increase their chances of getting that Teams’ Title, British sim racer Josh Idowu will be joining the Red Bull team from team Scuderia AlphaTauri Orlen Esports:
“It’s a privilege to partner with one of the best in the game such as Frede. Of course our target is the Teams title, but I hope to challenge for the Drivers’ and improve on my 7th place finish last year. With the help of Team Redline, we’ve put in the necessary work and with any luck now the results will follow.”

The team has recently announced a multi-year partnership with Team Redline, with the merger bringing a new Team name and logo. Team Redline will also preside over the performance management of Oracle Red Bull Sim Racing going into the F1 Esports Pro Championship.
The sim racing team’s lineup is completed by iRacing and ESL R1 superstar, Sebastian Job:
“This year I will be taking more of a supportive role while I compete in another series, however, I look forward to supporting the team in any way that I can. I believe my experience from having competed previously can help the team get an edge in a series where the margins are so fine.”
While it’s yet to be confirmed, the F1 Esports Pro Championship should begin soon. Last year, the competition started in September and it concluded in December. Stay tuned for more updates on the format and all lineups.
