How to level up faster in VALORANT

Have you been wondering how to level up faster in Riot Games’ VALORANT? If so then you’ve come to the right place. Getting to a high level in VALORANT takes an awful amount of time. Even after grinding the game for hours and hours, you still feel like you haven’t moved an inch. There are some methods for new players to try out if they feel the process is slow.

How to level up faster in VALORANT

In Act 4, Riot Games implemented a new requirement in order to join the VALORANT ranking system. Players need to be level 20 if they are to proceed. One of the reasons is to limit what ranks can play together in VALORANT, and to avoid smurfing. If there was no cap, they could create new accounts at will, ruining the experience for new players and potentially turning them off the game.

Here is how to level up faster in VALORANT.

Completing dailies

While weekly challenges and missions still exist, a while back Riot introduced dailies into VALORANT. These are daily tasks that you can complete to earn some sweet XP. These tasks are also extremely simple. The way this works is you have four dailies, and each of those is a box with four checkpoints. Completing each checkpoint will earn you 1,000 XP and 150 Kingdom Credits. Here is how to earn a checkpoint in VALORANT’s dailies:

  • Unrated, Swiftplay, Competitive VALORANT, and Premier earn per round won.
  • Spike Rush, Escalation, and Team Deathmatch earn per match.

Just from dailies alone, you can earn 4,000 XP, plus the XP you’ll be earning in each individual match.

Play short games in VALORANT

There are a couple of quick-fire modes that VALORANT has to offer players. Spike Rush is a much more condensed version of VALORANT with a couple of twists to make the game more interesting. Power orbs and randomized weapons keep it from being a “budget VALORANT” mode.

If you’re looking to complete your dailies quickly, considering how long is a VALORANT game, then going with Spike Rush could be the play. You only need four rounds to win a game of Spike Rush, which means at most there will be seven rounds, a lot shorter than traditional modes.

Playing Unrated VALORANT

While Spike Rush is one of the fastest ways to play many games in quick time, playing Unrated is probably the best way to go about things. You will breeze through your dailies and at the same time learn the game if you’re a newer player. If you are playing Spike Rush only, reach level 20, and then jump into ranked, you’ll be in for the shock of your life when you learn the game plays at a completely different pace.

The better you do, the more XP you will earn after the game is done. Your first win of the day will also grant you extra XP. If you’re looking to level up faster, learn the game, and get better aim in VALORANT, I would go with Unrated.
