The game developers have confirmed that the VALORANT Console beta will go live on June 14, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation5 (PS5) consoles. However, the beta will be limited to a few regions – the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Japan, during the initial testing phase. Thankfully, it will also be rolled out to remaining global regions shortly thereafter.

The news of VALORANT’s console expansion came to light during the 2024 Summer Game Fest event, in which they also announced that both Xbox and PS5 formats feature custom-built VALORANT gameplay while upholding the game’s strict level of core, competitive gameplay.

Unfortunately, the VALORANT Console won’t support features like crossplay, which means PC players can’t play with VALORANT on PS5 and Xbox players. Thankfully, VALORANT players on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 will have a connected, shared inventory and gameplay progression tied to their VALORANT account.

On top of that, all the platforms will receive simultaneous updates including patch releases, new agents, maps, premium content, and additional live service features.

VALORANT Console Beta Registration details

If you’re excited about the VALORANT Console release, you can register for its beta by heading to the beta.playvalorant.com. After that, simply log in to the Riot account or create a new one if you haven’t already. Then, fill out all the basic details such as name, console username, etc., and finally hit the submit button.

As mentioned earlier, the beta testing will kick off on June 14, 2024, and only players from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Japan can participate in this phase.

There has been no announcement about VALORANT Mobile, though.
