On July 10, Talon Esports, one of Thailand’s most well-recognized esports organizations, announced its Primmie signing. This sparked a lot of conversations within the community. The people who followed the VALORANT APAC ranked ladder already knew who this player was. On VALORANT, Primmie goes by the in-game name of Scooby dooby doo. During this season, he was a part of the team on the Premier game mode, XGODNUMBERONE.
During Split 1 of the VALORANT Challengers League Thailand, XGODNUMBERONE finished second in the open qualifiers. They had to forfeit their grand finals match as they were caught for account sharing. Following this, Primmie was part of the team gollum666. They lost in the promotion event of VCL Thailand. During this time, Primmie was still focusing on the VALORANT ranked ladders. When I say focusing, I mean demolishing it with ease.
Since Episode 6, Act 1, Primmie has repeatedly finished the ACT on Radiant #1. Using the website tracker.gg, we can see his stats from the previous Acts in VALORANT, and they are mind-boggling. During Episode 7 Act 3, Primmie was performing on another level; below are some of his stats:
- ACS – 262.3
- KD Ratio of 1.41
- Headshot % of 38.3%
- Four thousand ninety-one total kills, of which 563 were first blood.
Surprisingly, a player who has been Radiant #1 on the APAC leaderboard wasn’t a part of the VCT Pacific League this year.
How did Primmie Perform During his VALORANT Champions Tour Debut for Talon Esports?

Primmie’s first match for Talon Esports was a knockout match in the playoffs in VCT Pacific against Team Secret. They would come one step closer to qualifying for VALORANT Champions 2024 if they won. If they lost, they would be out of the VCT Pacific Playoffs. The stakes were quite high, but this didn’t slow down Primmie.
During the first map on Lotus, Primmie proved why many call him a rank demon. On the agent Clove, he finished the match with a KDA of 24/21/4. This was with a headshot percentage of 42%. On the map of Abyss, it was a whole new ball game. Primmie ended the match on a KDA of 28/21/4 with a 40% headshot percent and six first bloods. He ended the game as the MVP on both maps and helped Talon Esports secure a spot in VALORANT Champions 2024. This will be the first time Talon Esports will be present at an international Esports tournament.

With the world at his feet, seeing how Primmie performs during VALORANT Champions 2024 will be interesting. His rise also raises a new topic in the VALORANT community: Is the ranked ladder more effective than anyone expected to bring out new talent in VALORANT? It will also be interesting to see if more teams will now look at the regional leaderboards to find the next wonderkid within VALORANT.
