VALORANT Tracker: Everything you need to know

It’s no secret that VALORANT is a highly competitive FPS game, so players are always looking for new ways to improve their in-game performance. While it’s not a new invention, VALORANT trackers have emerged to be one of the best tools available in the market which provides a detailed rundown of your performance, statistics, and more. As a result, you can easily identify your weaknesses and spot the areas of improvement to outperform your opponent’s team. Therefore, we’ll provide a thorough breakdown of what a VALORANT Tracker is followed by how it works and some of the best options available on the internet.

What is a VALORANT Tracker?

For starters, VALORANT Tracker is a simple-to-use tool for in-game real-time tracking of your Valorant stats. In other words, it shows real-time stats during a VALORANT match, such as kills, deaths, assists, and more that you can eventually use to improve your aim. At this point, you might be wondering how it’s different from the regular scoreboard that you can use just by pressing the “Tab” button on your keyboard. Well, a VALORANT tracker provides much more info than the in-game scoreboard as it allows you to perform the following actions:

  • Allows you to see other players’ stats and compare your performance.
  • Tracks your match history, including win/loss, kills, deaths, and other stats.
  • Displays your performance compared to the average for that agent.
  • Helps identify which agents and maps you excel at.

How does a VALORANT Tracker work?

VALORANT Tracker exists just because of the game’s API (Application Programming Interface). These APIs allow third-party software to retrieve and display your in-game data on their tool. When a player’s Riot ID is input into the tracker, it pulls data from Riot’s servers, compiling statistics and generating reports. Some trackers require users to log in with their Riot account to provide more personalized and accurate data.

You might have heard about the Tracker.GG at some point from the VALORANT community or content creators. It’s by far the most popular Tracker available on the internet and is widely used by many professional players and streamers.

The best part about this tool is that it not only shows you detailed stats but also offers helpful lineups for abilities on different maps and agents, which is specifically helpful if you’re a Sova, Viper or Brimstone main. Apart from this, you can also check out global and regional leaderboards for the top VALORANT players and compare your stats.

Blitz.GG

Blitz.GG has a significant advantage over Tracker.GG when it comes to the UI experience. We personally felt that Blitz.GG offers a much cleaner and minimal UI interface and it’s also officially recognized as compliant with Riot Games’ third-party application guidelines.

It also includes a built-in highlight recorder which allows you to review key moments such as your breathtaking clutches and eventually use them to showcase your skills on social media platforms. However, the ads can be intrusive and frustrating in the free version which is specifically painful while you’re tracking stats while playing the game. On top of that, some players are unhappy with these VALORANT Trackers as users are dodging matches.

Does Riot Games allow VALORANT Trackers?

Simply put, third-party approved trackers such as Tracker.GG or Blitz.GG are safe to use and won’t get your VALORANT account banned. We’ve personally used it for the past six months and never faced any such issue. However, using the unproved tools can potentially get your account banned and Riot Games has also made it clear they will take action against players using apps that are not on their whitelist and do not have approved API access. Apps with Riot’s API approval won’t cause issues.

If you’re thinking about using multiple VALORANT trackers simultaneously, then you should stop. It’s not recommended to use multiple VALORANT trackers simultaneously. Using multiple ones, even if individually approved, could potentially trigger Riot’s anti-cheat system and lead to account bans. Therefore, using only one officially sanctioned tracker at a time is the safest approach.
