WoW Timewalking Mounts – Expand Your WoW Mount Collection

One of the best additions to the game that surprisingly came during one of the worst expansions that WoW has to offer (WoD) is Timewalking. There is nothing as fun as making some old content trivial again. A lot of players would do it for the sheer nostalgic experience that some old dungeons and raids have to offer, but on top of all that, Timewalking offers some astonishing rewards, which some of them are mounts.

WoW Timewalking – Quick Explanation

Timewalking is a Weekly Bonus Event that comes up every three weeks. During this time, an expansion from the past is going to be featured in the event, and players will have access to queue for dungeons from that expansion even at max level. The catch is that the player’s gear is downscaled to the dungeon’s level, and while this might seem like this actually makes them hard, it is all for fun as you will keep quite a lot of your power, including all of the abilities.

Since the event comes every three weeks, you can expect the WoW Timewalking Weekly Bonus Event to be available 18 times each year. During each week, you can earn 500 Timewarped badges, which is the main currency used to purchase various rewards from the vendors during each week of Timewalking. Another way to get these badges is through killing bosses, finishing dungeons, finishing the Deaths of Chromie scenario, and a few other options.

What are the WoW Timewalking Mounts?

At the moment, six different WoW Timewalking mounts are available for purchase from the vendors, and all of these six mounts cost 5000 Timewarped Badges. That’s right – if you want all of the mounts from the vendors, you will need to be grinding quite a bit, and while you are doing that, there is a chance that you are going to get the “secret” seventh mount while clearing WoW Timewalking dungeons and other activities. Here is a quick overlook of the available mounts.

Eclipse Dragonhawk

@ Wowhead

There would not be a more appropriate mount for Timewalking that is related to The Burning Crusade than a Dragonhawk, and when it comes to the Eclipse Dragonhawk, it is quite a nice mount. It keeps the traditional Dragonhawk design, which some may find as a positive and some as a negative, as the textures are a bit lacking compared to modern mounts. Those who enjoy old-school mounts will definitely enjoy this one, as you can buy it in Shattrah City during TBC Timewalking from Cupri.

Ironbound Wraithcharger

While a lot of people would prefer to show off Invincible when it comes to the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, if you are still on the grind for that fan-favorite mount, Ironbound Wraithcharger is quite a good substitution. You can purchase this mount in the Crystalsong Forest Dalaran (the one in the WotLK expansion) from Auzin, and if you think this mount looks cool while on the ground, wait until you see it flying.

Beastlord’s Irontusk and Beastlord’s Warwolf

@ Warcraft Secrets

During the Warlords of Draenor Timewalking, there are going to be two mounts available for purchase. While the mounts do indicate that one of them is a Horde mount and that the other one is an Alliance one, the great thing is that you can purchase both of them at Tempra in Stormshield if you are Alliance and Kronnus in Warspear if you are Horde.

Yu’lei, Daughter of Jade

Dragons are amazing, and while there are quite a lot of dragon mounts out there, Yu’lei, Daughter of Jade, definitely has to be one of our favorite Cloud Serpents out there, only to be bested by the legendary Onyx Cloud Serpent from Sha of Anger that is incredibly rare (we hope you get it one day and we feel you). To purchase this mount, Mists of Pandaria Timewalking needs to be active, and you can buy it from Mistweaver Xia on the Timeless Isle.

Val’sharah Hippogryph

@ Wowpedia

Everyone who played Warcraft 3 back in the day probably wanted a Hippogryph mount when they started playing World of Warcraft upon its release. While this type of mount was not available back then, today, there are multiple Hippogryphs that players can use as their mount, and the latest Timewalkin addition, the Val’sharah Hippogryph, might be one of the best versions out there. If you want to purchase this mount, you can do it during Legion Timewalking from Aridormi in Dalaran (the Legion version).

Infinite Timereaver

@ Wowhead

The “secret” mount that you cannot purchase from any vendor during Timewalking is the Infinite Timereaver, which is one of the coolest WoW mounts in the game as it is literally a mountable Infinite Drake. This mount has a small percentage to drop from any boss in Timewalking Dungeons, and while it can take a while until it drops for you, by the time you unlock all other Timewalking mounts, you are probably going to get this one as well.
