Black Ops 7 Season 1 New Content

Black Ops 7 Season 1 will introduce a bunch of PvE and multiplayer content.

Endgame World Events

The first piece of content is endgame World Events. These multi-layered PvE challenges will pit you and your squadmates against significant threats. You’ll have to create a build, mixing weapons, abilities, and exclusive perks to help you overcome the odds.

Rewards include exclusive weapon camos, so if you want to look extra dapper when jumping into multiplayer or Warzone, you’ll want to tackle them.

The confirmed lineup includes:

  • Colossus of Avalon (Launch)
  • Toxic Tyrant (Launch)
  • Wraith Wing (Mid-Season)

Only the first two will be available at launch. Each requires a recommended Combat Rating of 45, so if you haven’t reached it yet, now’s the time to start grinding. A fourth and final world event for Season 1 is still in development and will be revealed at a later date.

New Exotic Skills

In addition to World Events, you’ll also be able to unlock eight new Exotic Skills in Black Ops 7 to aid you.

  • Mega Punch: Replaces your weapon, but with a deadly punch that knocks back enemies and deals more damage.
  • Conjuration: Kill enough enemies to summon Toxin Butterflies that harass and damage enemies.
  • Echo Shell: Significantly reduces damage taken from behind.
  • Celebration: Enemies damaged or affected by Equipment have a chance to trigger Mortar Rounds that target enemies.
  • Frost Cloud: Enemies damaged or affected by Equipment have a chance to trigger a Frost Cloud that slows enemies.
  • Resurrection: On fatal damage, become temporarily invulnerable instead of dying. Available once per match.
  • Shattered Shield: Stun and damage nearby enemies when Armor Plates break.
  • Graviton Reaction: Taking melee hits can spawn a Black Hole that damages and displaces enemies.

Later, during the mid-season update, a new skill track will be added, called Phantom. It includes these skills:

  • Ambush: Critical hits from behind on unaware enemies deal more damage.
  • Fast Melee: Faster Melee speed.
  • Trap Avoidance: Traps and Mines take longer to detect you. Undetectable when fully upgraded.
  • Silent Movement: Quiets movement and reduces enemy detection distance.
  • Elusive Target: Reduces the accuracy of enemies shooting at you.
  • Decoy: Taking significant damage deploys an Echo Unit that distracts enemies.

Black Ops 7 New Game Modes

The Season 1 update will also introduce new Black Ops 7 modes, all of which (apart from Takeover and Holiday Havoc) will be available right from the start.

  • Prop Hunt: Disguise yourself as a prop and evade notice from searching Operators. Props whistle every 30 seconds. Teams switch roles between rounds.
  • One in the Chamber: Each Operator spawns with a pistol, one bullet, a Combat Knife, and three lives. The only way to earn another bullet is to eliminate another Operator. Every shot counts as an elimination. When only two players remain, a UAV begins to scan the area.
  • Sharpshooter: Free-for-all match where every Operator is given the same randomly selected weapon. Every 45 seconds, the weapon changes to a new random weapon for all players.
  • Sticks and Stones: Use a Crossbow, Ballistic Knife, and Combat Axe in a free-for-all, earning points for each elimination. If you get eliminated by the Combat Axe, you lose all your points.
  • Gun Game: Eliminate enemies and be the first to cycle through every weapon tier, where every Operator starts with the same weapon. Eliminating enemies with a melee will demote them to the previous tier.
  • Takeover: Two teams of six fight over three neutral territories, earning a point for each zone they control. The player with the highest score at the end wins the game.
  • Holiday Havoc: Holiday-themed festive 6v6 moshpit featuring Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and Hardpoint, or their respective Hardcore variants. It will include festive-themed gameplay modifiers to spice up the experience.
