Warzone Server Status: Can You Play Warzone Right Now?

The Warzone server status is going to be deciding whether you can hop in for a quick few sessions or not. Be it mobile, console or on PC, you’ll need a stable connection if you want to play. But what happens if you can’t connect, are Warzone servers down right now, or is it you?

How can I tell if its me or the servers?

There are a few things you can do to test to see if its you or the servers. On all versions, checking to see if you can force an update is the first point of call. You’ll be unable to connect to the game if you launch without being on the same patch, sometimes this means a lengthy reinstall if it doesn’t play ball. Since the Activision and Blizzard merger, you can also check other Blizzard titles such as other Call of Duty games, or Overwatch if you’re playing on PC/Console.

If you’re struggling with those too, then its likely that the issue with the servers is widespread. Unless of course Epic Games’, or Steam server status is also marked with an outage, then its unlikely all of these servers are down and you’re likely the common denominator.

If still nothing works, you can try these:

  1. Try restarting your PC/Console
  2. Use a wired connection. It might just be the Wi-Fi giving you headaches.
  3. Check your connection speed. Your slow internet speed might be blocking you from connecting to the servers.
  4. Limit other bandwidth-heavy applications.
