Unfortunately, this means that only four teams advances to the playoffs. Here, the surviving four teams will compete in single-elimination bracket, where all matches are best-of-three.

Favorites at Asia Pacific Predator League 2025
Nevertheless, with the group stage concluded, we managed to catch a glimpse of the advancing teams’ skills and gameplay for predictions.
The four teams competing in the playoffs of Asia Pacific Predator League 2025 are Ivory, 123 Gaming, Team Helios and Myth Avenue Gaming. Myth Avenue Gaming’s playstyle revolves around snowballing exponentially in the midgame, which often puts teams that prefer slower late game pace at a disadvantage. This is a very old-school, and expected from a Malaysian team like Myth Avenue Gaming.
Whereas 123 Gaming seems to be the most mature among the four teams in the playoffs. Notably, their drafts mirror the latest meta from BetBoom Dacha Belgrade and DreamLeague S24 with popular picks, such as Muerta and Bristleback. The other two have also played around the meta in Dota 2 patch 7.37e but often jazzed up the drafts with playmaking heroes, such as Earth Spirit.
Given the intense competition brewing at Asia Pacific Predator League 2025, this is certainly a must-watch for Dota 2 fans eyeing on the region’s rising talents.
