BLAST Open Fall 2025 is back and ready to keep both teams and participants on their toes. Taking place over three days, starting on September 5, the tournament will feature six of the best Counter-Strike 2 teams currently in the world.

The tournament begins on September 5 and concludes two days later on September 7. Before they get to this tournament, 16 teams will compete in an online battle from August 27 to September 1.
The six teams that qualify will participate in the BLAST Open Fall 2025, taking place at the Ovo Arena in London. With a total prize pool of $330,000, the group stage features a double-elimination format, consisting of Bo3 matches, whereas the playoffs employ a single-elimination bracket. Both the quarter and semifinals are also Bo3, but different from the grand final, which is Bo5.
With the arena close to a sellout, it’s looking like an event Counter-Strike 2 fans do not want to miss.

These are just the teams that could qualify for the BLAST Open Fall this year. We’ll be going through not just the favorites to make it through to this, but to win the tournament overall.
Winners of the BLAST Open Fall in 2024, they are sure to make it through to this tournament and are the favorites to win for some. Their lineup includes: Nemanja “huNter” Kovač, Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa, Álvaro “Sunpayus” Fernádez Garcia, Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko, and Matúš “MATYS” Šimko.
In CS2, their total prize money is over $6,700,000, with a total win rate of 59% too. They finished ninth in BLAST Premier Bounty Season 2. Being past winners and their success in CS2, there’s no reason not to have them as one of the favorites.
Finishing fourth in the BLAST Open Fall 2024, with a strong lineup, there’s no doubt Team Vitality will be a force to be reckoned with. They have a strong lineup including: Dan “apEX” Madesclaire, Robin “ropz” Kool, Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, Shahar “flameZ” Shushan, and William “mezii” Merriman.
A total prize money of over $8,000,000 in CS2, and a win rate of an impressive 67%, fans should be keeping an eye on Team Vitality.
In BLAST Open Fall 2024, Team Spirit finished an underwhelming sixth, but with a powerful team lineup, fans should keep an eye on them. They have a lineup including: Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov, Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov, Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia, Danil “Donk” Kryshkovets, and Ivan “zweih” Gogin.
A high win rate in CS2 of 65%, and a prize money total of over $4,700,000, Team Spirit isn’t here to play; they’re here to win.

In 2024, the tournament was held in Copenhagen, Denmark. G2 Esports took the victory alongside $200,000 and qualification to the world final. Natus Vincere finished runners-up with $85,000, and finishing in third was FaZe Clan, taking home $40,000.
It’s slightly different from this year as they had a prize pool of $425,000 and included eight teams instead of six. There are slight changes to this year’s tournament, but it’s all to make it more exciting and more engaging for both teams and fans.
Six of the best teams will battle it out on Counter-Strike 2 to win a huge prize money amount and bragging rights as the winners.
The tournament has a total prize pool of $330,000, and first place takes home $150,000. Second place takes home $60,000, third and fourth place take home $40,000, and then fifth and sixth place take home $20,000.
Ancient, Dust II, Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass, and Train will be the maps where the teams battle it out to take first position.

Although the six teams have yet to be confirmed, there are 16 teams that will battle it out between August 27 and September 1.
