Eight teams will clash at the AsiaWorld-Arena in Hong Kong, China, competing at BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 from November 12 to 16. As the final S-Tier Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) esports event before the StarLadder Budapest Major, the tournament holds a lot of weight.

It could indicate frontrunners heading into the Major Championship, and with five of the best in the world attending, sparks are set to fly—but who will lift the coveted trophy? That’s what our power rankings aim to figure out.

BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 Power Rankings

Our BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 power rankings break down all eight competing teams, predicting which are most likely to reach the podium—and who could ultimately lift the coveted trophy.

These rankings are based on extensive research, taking into account various factors such as expected player form, matchup histories, performances on LAN, and recent roster changes. We used bookmaker odds and VRS rankings as of November 7 (before the conclusion of IEM Chengdu) for our power rankings.

We use decimal odds (Stake x Odds = Payout), but also provide American odds and the implied probability. Odds represent a bookmaker’s confidence in an outcome occurring, and therefore play a critical role in determining a team’s expected strength.

Team Falcons (#1)

It’s Team Falcons’ time to soar to new heights. The Saudi Arabian organization’s superteam has had its time in the oven, and now, it’s time to reap the rewards.

With Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov’s current, incredible form, and wonderkind Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin powering up, there’s enough firepower to take down anyone who dares enter the server.

Team Falcons are ranked #3 on the VRS, and odds of 3.50 (+250.00) indicate a 28.57% chance of winning it all—the second-highest at BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2.

Team Falcons roster:

  • Nikola “NiKo” Kovač
  • René “TeSeS” Madsen
  • Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov
  • Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin
  • Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski (IGL)
  • Danny “zonic” Sørensen (Coach)

Team Vitality (#2)

Many CS2 esports fans agree that we are in the Team Vitality era. Despite a tiny slump after winning the BLAST.tv Austin Major, Team Vitality has proven time and time again that they are a frontrunner at any LAN event.

The odds are in Team Vitality’s favor, with 2.37 (+137) indicating a 42.19% chance of Dan “apEX” Madesclaire’s men adding another trophy to their overflowing cabinet. That’s the highest chance of any squad attending.

If the star players such as Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut and Robin “ropz” Kool are on form, Team Vitality should make it to the Grand Final.

Team Vitality roster:

  • Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut
  • Robin “ropz” Kool
  • Shahar “flameZ” Shushan
  • William “mezii” Merriman
  • Dan “apEX” Madesclaire (IGL)
  • Danny “zonic” Sørensen (Coach)

FURIA (#3)

Sitting pretty at the top of the VRS after an incredible 3-2 reverse-sweep comeback against NAVI at the Thunderpick World Championship 2025, FURIA is a force on the server.

The current form of their star player, Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis, and AWPer Danil “molodoy” Golubenko, is frightening. The question on everyone’s mind is whether two-time Major Championship-winner Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo can lead his team to back-to-back trophies?

Odds of 6.50 (+550) show an implied probability of 15.38% for FURIA to take home the gold.

FURIA roster:

  • Yuri “yuurih” Boian
  • Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato
  • Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis
  • Danil “molodoy” Golubenko
  • Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo (IGL)
  • Sidnei “sidde” Macedo (Coach)

Team Spirit (#4)

At IEM Chengdu 2025, Team Spirit suffered a rare Group Stage exit, first getting knocked down to the lower bracket of Group A by Team Falcons, then fumbling against The MongolZ at the last hurdle.

Team Spirit is ranked #7 on the VRS and recently brought in Belarusian rifler Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich, replacing Myroslav “zont1x” Plakhotia on the active lineup. Team Spirit might have needed a little more time for the roster changes to settle, which is why they are #4 on our power rankings.

Odds of 4.50 (+350) translate to a 22.22% chance of Team Spirit lifting the BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 trophy, indicating higher bookmaker confidence than their VRS ranking suggests.

Team Spirit roster:

  • Danil “donk” Kryshkovets
  • Dmitriy “sh1ro” Sokolov
  • Ivan “zweih” Gogin
  • Andrey “tN1R” Tatarinovich
  • Leonid “chopper” Vishnyakov (IGL)
  • Sergey “hally” Shavayev (Coach)

The MongolZ (#5)

On October 22, The MongolZ benched star player Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold in a shocking move, and shortly afterwards, added Unudelger “controlez” Baasanjargal as a stand-in.

The roster change added uncertainty about the Mongolian side’s expected performance, despite their ranking as #5 on the VRS.

The uncertainty is reflected in odds of 17.00 (+1600), which imply a 5.88% probability that The MongolZ will win BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2.

The MongolZ roster:

  • Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold
  • Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch
  • Sodbayar “Techno4K” Munkhbold
  • Ayush “mzinho” Batbold
  • Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren (IGL)
  • Erdenedalai “maaRaa” Bayanbat (Coach)

paiN Gaming (#6)

The South American side is the only underdog at BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2 that has a real chance to claim a podium finish.

At IEM Chengdu 2025’s Group A deciding match, paiN Gaming impressed by pushing The MongolZ to their limits, with a reverse-sweep comeback required from the Mongolian side to secure a narrow 2-1 win.

paiN Gaming has solid form going into BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2, with 18-year-old Brazilian rifler João “snow” Vinicius as the spearhead of the attack. Odds of 76.00 (+7500) might undervalue paiN Gaming, as they have more than a 1.32% chance of a win.

paiN Gaming roster:

  • David “dav1deuS” Tapia
  • Lucas “nqz” Soares
  • Franco “dgt” Garcia
  • João “snow” Vinicius
  • Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt (IGL)
  • Henrique “rikz” Waku (Coach)

TYLOO (#7)

TYLOO has potential, as evidenced by their win at FISSURE Playground 1 in July, when they claimed the trophy by trampling Astralis 3-1 in the Grand Final.

While the Chinese team hasn’t posted a notable result after their iconic win, they do have the home-ground advantage in Hong Kong.

Odds of 101.00 (+10000) indicate there’s just a 0.99% chance of the #22 team on the VRS to lift the trophy. Can TYLOO surprise us all? Yes, but it’s unlikely.

TYLOO roster:

  • Sheng “Attacker” Yuanzhang
  • Yang “JamYoung” Yi
  • Chen “Moseyuh” Qianhao
  • Ji “Jee” Dongkai
  • Wang “Mercury” Jingxiang (IGL)
  • Zhong “zhokiNg” Weijie (Coach)

Passion UA (#8)

On August 19, 2025, Ukrainian organization Passion UA introduced its new CS2 roster, reuniting South African IGL Johnny “JT” Theodosiou with coach Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen as the strategic engine.

The odds are not in Passion UA’s favor, as 101.00 (+10000), just like TYLOO, with a 0.99% implied probability to lift the trophy.

Despite the low odds, it is worth noting that Passion UA (ranked #28 on the VRS) has qualified for the StarLadder Budapest Major and is showing solid form on the server.

Passion UA roster:

  • Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol
  • Michael “Grim” Wince
  • Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli
  • Nicholas “nicx” Lee
  • Johnny “JT” Theodosiou (IGL)
  • Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen (Coach)
