BLAST Slam V Predictions: Dota 2 Power Rankings
Disclaimer: Predictions are based on opinion and should not be construed as betting advice. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes. Odds are accurate as of November 21, 2025, and can change at a moment’s notice.
BLAST Slam V is the penultimate Tier 1 Dota 2 esports tournament of the year, running from November 25 to December 7. With centerpiece events like The International 2025 (TI14) now in the rearview mirror, teams are looking to cement their status as frontrunners going into 2026.
That makes betting predictions and BLAST Slam V power rankings a thrilling endeavor. While predicting the outcome of an esports event isn’t an exact science, we employed in-depth research that focused on several key factors, expert opinion, and Dota 2 betting odds.

BLAST Slam V Power Rankings: Playoffs Predictions
The Group, Last Chance, and Play-In stages will determine the six teams that advance to the BLAST Slam V Playoffs Stage. These teams will perform in front of a live audience at the Wuliangye Chengdu Performing Arts Centre from December 5 to 7, for a slice of the $1 million prize pool.
It’s a high-stakes affair, where anything can happen—which makes predicting the outcome both fun and challenging. These power rankings were created on November 21, 2025, prior to the completion of PGL Wallachia Season 6, and take into account the most recent matchups available.
These rankings are based on thorough research and encompass multiple factors like matchup histories, the post-TI roster shuffle, recent performances, and the latest bookmaker odds.
We use decimal odds (Bet x Odds = Payout), but also provide American odds and the implied probability in our analysis. As always, keep in mind that odds represent a bookmaker’s confidence in an outcome occurring and play a critical role in determining a team’s strength.

Tundra Esports (#1)
When it comes to BLAST Slam events, Tundra Esports seems unstoppable. They are the three-peat champions, having won BLAST Slam II, III, and IV.
Their most recent success, beating Team Falcons 3–2 in the Grand Final of BLAST Slam IV, suggests that newcomers to the roster, Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko and Matthew “Ari” Walker, are acclimating exceptionally well to the team.
According to bookmakers, Tundra Esports should make it to the Grand Final—but will likely end in second place. Odds of 3.20 (+220) indicate a 31.25% chance of lifting the BLAST Slam V trophy.
However, Tundra Esports’ recent track record gives us confidence that they have a slight edge over Team Falcons in our power rankings.
Tundra Esports roster:
- Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko
- Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov
- Neta “33” Shapira (Captain)
- Matthew “Ari” Walker
- Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon
- David “MoonMeander” Tan Boon Yang (Coach)
Team Falcons (#2)
As the TI14 champions, Team Falcons continues to fly high. If Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak can keep up his MVP performances in the midlane, the squad’s journey to another Grand Final looks likely.
Powered by the genius of coach Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling, who is the first person ever to lift three Aegis of Champions, Team Falcons has both the raw skill and strategic depth to win any tournament they enter.
Team Falcons are the clear favorites at 2.80 (+180), with the odds indicating a 35.71% chance of victory. That doesn’t come as a surprise, though, since Team Falcons already won FISSURE Playground 2 following TI14 and placed 2nd at BLAST Slam IV.
The only reason they are our #2 pick is due to Tundra Esports’ incredible record at BLAST Slam events.
Team Falcons roster:
- Oliver “skiter” Lepko
- Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak
- Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf (Captain)
- Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen
- Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu
- Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling (Coach)
Xtreme Gaming (#3)
With midlaner Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang, and support duo of Xu “fy” Linsen and Yap “xNova” Jian Wei joining on October 1, the superteam looks fantastic—on paper. Xtreme Gaming suffered an early exit in the Group Stage at PGL Wallachia Season 6, after losing two close matches against MOUZ and HEROIC.
However, the Chinese juggernauts have a hometown advantage at BLAST Slam V. If the TI14 finalists make it to the Playoffs Stage, they can feed off the crowd and possibly claim a podium finish.
Odds of 3.40 (+240) signal an implied probability of 29.41% for Xtreme Gaming to lift the BLAST Slam V trophy, the third-highest of all teams attending.
Xtreme Gaming roster:
- Wang “Ame” Chunyu
- Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang
- Lin “Xxs” Jing
- Xu “fy” Linsen
- Yap “xNova” Jian Wei
- Zhang “xiao8” Ning (Coach)
MOUZ (#4)
The newly formed MOUZ roster, created on September 20, marks the return of Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng to the pro Dota 2 scene. The legendary midlaner has been inactive since early 2024, but you wouldn’t have guessed it after strong recent performances.
MOUZ has demonstrated strong form, finishing 2nd at FISSURE Universe Episode 7 and 5th–6th at FISSURE Playground 2. Most impressive, however, was their 3rd–4th place finish at BLAST Slam IV.
They beat Team Spirit in the Quarterfinals before narrowly losing to a 2–1 reverse sweep at the hands of eventual champions, Tundra Esports. Odds of 5.3 (+430) indicate an implied probability of 18.87% that MOUZ can go all the way at BLAST Slam V—and we couldn’t agree more.
MOUZ roster:
- Remco “Crystallis” Arets
- Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng
- Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan
- Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy
- Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp (Captain)
- Daniel “ImmortalFaith” Moza (Coach)
HEROIC (#5)
After adding Cedric “Davai Lama” Deckmyn in the offlane on September 20, HEROIC won FISSURE Universe Episode 7.
The squad followed up the victory by reaching the Playoffs Stage of BLAST Slam IV, their first Tier 1 tournament of the season. Meanwhile, their Brazilian coach clapped back at haters while celebrating the achievement. HEROIC ended in 3rd–4th, losing to Team Falcons.
HEROIC kept up their form at PGL Wallachia Season 6, making it through the Group Stage, while beating favorites Tundra Esports and Xtreme Gaming along the way. Considering these recent strong results, it’s no surprise that there’s confidence in the squad.
Odds of 5.8 (+480) signal a 17.24% chance that HEROIC could lift the BLAST Slam V trophy.
HEROIC roster:
- Yuma “Yuma” Langlet
- Adrián “Wisper” Dobles
- Cedric “Davai Lama” Deckmyn
- Elvis “Scofield” Peña
- Matheus “KJ” Santos Jungles Diniz (Captain)
- Igor “kaffs” Estevão (Coach)
OG (#6)
On November 8, OG made one of the most dramatic roster moves in its storied history, signing the entire Team Aureus stack, a team that has made waves in Southeast Asia.
What boosts confidence in OG for our BLAST Slam V power rankings is their strong debut at PGL Wallachia Season 6. They advanced through the Group Stage by beating favorites PARIVISION and Tundra Esports, then reverse-swept BetBoom Team in the Quarterfinals in spectacular fashion.
Odds of 14.0 (+1300) indicate that OG has only a 7.14% chance of winning BLAST Slam V, placing OG in the bottom four teams competing. However, our expert believes OG is undervalued and can reach the Playoffs. Consider OG at #6 above Team Tidebound, Team Yandex, and NAVI as our bold prediction.
OG roster:
- John “Natsumi-” Vargas
- Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer
- Nikko “Force” Bilocura
- Timothy “TIMS” Randrup
- Andrei “skem” Ong
- Adam “343” Shah (Coach)
