The first international esports tournament of the Brawl Stars Championship 2025 is here. The Brawl Cup 2025 is set to be the mid-season event for the game, taking place at DreamHack Dallas from May 23 to 25. A total of 8 teams will compete for the title and a slot in the World Finals.

All global regions in the Brawl Stars Championship are competing in the mid-season event, having qualified from regional leagues. Here’s the full list of teams:

  • Tribe Gaming – North America
  • Elevate – North America
  • LOUD – South America
  • ZETA DIVISION – East Asia
  • SK Gaming – EMEA
  • HMBLE – EMEA
  • Revenant XSpark – SEA and South Asia
  • Toxix Lotus – Chinese Mainland

What is the format of the Brawl Cup 2025?

The eight teams have been split into two even groups of four teams each.

  • Each group will feature a GSL-style format. This means that a double-elimination bracket will take place and the winners of the upper and the lower bracket will move on to the playoffs.
  • Therefore, a total of 4 teams will qualify for the Playoffs stage.
  • The playoffs will feature a single-elimination bracket where the winners and runners-up of different groups will face each other.
  • There will also be a third-place match.
  • All matches will be best-of-five sets. Each set will further have best-of-three games.

What is at stake?

The winner of the tournament will get a direct slot in the 2025 Brawl Stars World Finals. Additionally, the third- and fourth-placed teams will receive an LCQ slot.

The $50,000 prize pool will be split as follows:

  • First place: $15,000
  • Second place: $10,000
  • Third place: $6,500
  • Fourth place: $4,500
  • 5th to 8th place: $3,500 each

Players looking to attend the event live need to purchase DreamHack Dallas tickets, which include access to the Brawl Cup 2025.

Besides this, the tournament will be broadcast live on the Brawl Stars Esports YouTube and Twitch channels.

History of the Brawl Cup 2025

This is the inaugural edition of the Brawl Cup 2025. Additionally, this is the first mid-season international esports tournament for the game since 2022, where Supercell had organized the Mid-Season Invitational. The return of a mid-seasonal event showcases the growth of the game.
