BLAST Slam VI: Schedule, Format, Teams & How To Watch
BLAST Slam VI marks a new chapter for the circuit as GamingMalta’s partnership moves the tournament to a new permanent home at the BLAST Arena Studios in Malta. Considering the new grueling format and chaos of Dota 2 Patch 7.40, the event challenges teams to adapt or fall behind.
In this guide, you will find all the details about BLAST Slam VI, including the schedule, format, teams, prize pool, and ticket information.

BLAST Slam VI Location & Dates
BLAST Slam VI kicks off on February 3 and runs through February 15, 2026. The Group Stage will be played online, but the Play-In and Playoffs will take place in front of a live audience at the BLAST Arena Studios in Malta.
As Tundra Esports chases a historic fifth Slam title, the stakes for this Mediterranean showdown have never been higher.
BLAST Slam VI Schedule & Format
BLAST Slam VI has implemented significant format changes to better align with viewer feedback.
The Group Stage will now feature a single round-robin format, with all matches played as best-of-one. This means that the twelve competing teams will play a total of 66 matches in this stage.
The top two teams will receive a bye directly into the Playoff Semifinals. Teams finishing 3rd–8th will proceed into the Play-In, while the bottom four teams (9th–12th) enter the Last Chance Playoffs.
In the Last Chance Playoffs, the four lowest-ranked teams will compete in best-of-three series, with only the top two advancing to the Play-In. This creates an eight-team Play-In field, where all matches are played as best-of-three.
The winners of the Play-In will lock in spots in the Playoff Quarterfinals, while all remaining teams are eliminated. Finally, the Playoffs will feature a single-elimination bracket structure, with all games played as best-of-five series.
