DreamLeague Season 27 Power Rankings: Playoffs Predictions

DreamLeague Season 27 is even bigger this year, expanding to 24 teams instead of the usual 16. And with only eight spots available in the Swiss-system Group Stage, this is the most ambitious event in the series.

With so much talent in the pool, the real challenge isn’t just predicting who reaches the Playoffs, but rather identifying the teams with the best chance to win it all.

To keep things grounded, our DreamLeague Season 27 power rankings were compiled on Dec. 3, 2025 (before the conclusion of BLAST Slam V), factoring in multiple performance indicators. This includes, but is not limited to, the post-TI roster shuffle, matchup histories, recent performances of teams and individual stars, and the latest bookmaker odds.

We use the decimal format (Bet x Odds = Payout), but also provide American odds and the implied probability in our analysis. Remember that odds represent a bookmaker’s confidence in an outcome occurring, and play a critical role in determining a team’s expected strength.

Team Falcons (#1)

Team Falcons continues to soar after winning The International 2025 (TI14), having earned a 2nd place finish at BLAST Slam IV, and lifting the FISSURE Playground 2 trophy on November 2 in Serbia.

With strategic mastermind Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling as the decorated head coach and TI14 MVP Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak on top form, the sky’s the limit.

Odds of 4.00 (+300) indicate there’s a 25% chance that Team Falcons will win DreamLeague Season 27. Boasting the best odds of all the teams competing, Falcons is perched on top of our power rankings.

Team Falcons roster:

  • Oliver “skiter” Lepko
  • Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak
  • Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf (Captain)
  • Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen
  • Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu
  • Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling (Coach)

Tundra Esports (#2)

On November 9, the powerhouse team led by Neta “33” Shapira made Dota 2 esports history, becoming the back-to-back-to-back BLAST Slam champions.

The icing on the cake was that they beat the favorites, Team Falcons, with a 3–2 score in a best-of-five slugfest at BLAST Slam IV to achieve this feat of strength.

Despite this impressive result, placing Tundra Esports ahead of Team Spirit is undeniably a bold call—and that’s exactly why they’re our second pick. Odds of 10.0 (+900) result in an implied probability of 10% for Tundra to go all the way.

We believe Tundra Esports is slightly undervalued by bookmakers, especially given how well Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko and Matthew “Ari” Walker are gelling with the rest of the squad.

Tundra Esports roster:

  • Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko
  • Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov
  • Neta “33” Shapira (Captain)
  • Matthew “Ari” Walker
  • Matthew “Whitemon” Filemon
  • David “MoonMeander” Tan (Coach)

Team Spirit (#3)

The Esports World Cup 2025 champions, Team Spirit, are bouncing back after suffering an early exit at TI14, despite being one of the favorites.

With Nikita “Panto” Balaganin replacing the previous captain, Yaroslav “Miposhka” Naidenov, on October 9, there’s renewed hope that they can close out the year in style.

Odds of 4.40 (+340) indicate that Team Spirit will likely claim a podium finish at DreamLeague Season 27, with a 22.73% chance of lifting the trophy.

Team Spirit roster:

  • Illya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk
  • Denis “Larl” Sigitov
  • Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov
  • Aleksandr “rue” Filin
  • Nikita “panto” Balaganin (Captain)
  • Airat “Silent” Gaziev (Coach)

MOUZ (#4)

The relatively new MOUZ roster, announced on September 20, has climbed the Dota 2 ranks with frightening speed and precision.

MOUZ placed 2nd at FISSURE Universe Episode 7, and 3rd–4th at BLAST Slam IV, before winning the organization’s first Tier 1 Dota 2 LAN trophy at PGL Wallachia Season 6

Their undeniable prowess on the server, and the exciting return of iconic midlaner Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng, inspires confidence—and bookmakers agree.

Odds of 5.00 (+400) indicate there’s a 20% chance that MOUZ could win DreamLeague Season 27.

MOUZ roster:

  • Remco “Crystallis” Arets
  • Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng
  • Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan
  • Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy
  • Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp (Captain)
  • Daniel “ImmortalFaith” Moza (Coach)

Team Liquid (#5)

With promising recent results, including a 3rd place finish at PGL Wallachia Season 6 and 4th at FISSURE Playground 2, Team Liquid is a strong contender.

The squad has recovered well after the retirement of Aydin “Insania” Sarkohi, with the former Gaimin Gladiators duo Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard and Erik “tOfu” Engel hitting their stride.

Team Liquid and MOUZ share the same odds of 5.00 (+400), indicating an implied probability of 20% for carry Michael “miCKe” Vu to lead his team to victory.

Team Liquid roster:

  • Michael “miCKe” Vu (Captain)
  • Michał “Nisha” Jankowski
  • Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard
  • Samuel “Boxi” Svahn
  • Erik “tOfu” Engel
  • William “Blitz” Lee (Coach)

BetBoom Team (#6)

After earning a respectable 4th-place finish at TI14, BetBoom Team continues to impress. They made only one roster change during the post-TI roster shuffle, adding carry Ilya “Kiritych” Ulyanov to replace Ivan “Pure” Moskalenko.

Recent results show that BetBoom Team can compete at the highest level, and on a good day, they can take down any opponent. They finished 2nd at FISSURE Playground 2, beating both Team Spirit and Team Liquid along the way.

Odds of 8.0 (+700) inspire confidence, indicating a 12.50% probability that BetBoom Team will become the DreamLeague Season 27 champions.

BetBoom Team roster:

  • Ilya “Kiritych” Ulyanov
  • Danil “gpk” Skutin
  • Matvey “MieRo” Vasyunin
  • Vitalie “Save-” Melnic (Captain)
  • Vladislav “Kataomi`” Semenov
  • Roman “rmN-” Paley (Coach)

Xtreme Gaming (#7)

As the runners-up of TI14, we simply cannot rule out Xtreme Gaming. However, the Chinese juggernauts didn’t perform well at PGL Wallachia Season 6, finishing in a disappointing 9th–11th place.

One could attribute Xtreme Gaming’s underwhelming performance to the new roster needing some time to stabilize. After all, PGL Wallachia Season 6 was the first event with midlaner Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang, and support duo Xu “fy” Linsen and Yap “xNova” Jian Wei.

Xtreme Gaming roster:

  • Wang “Ame” Chunyu
  • Cheng “NothingToSay” Jin Xiang
  • Lin “Xxs” Jing
  • Xu “fy” Linsen
  • Yap “xNova” Jian Wei
  • Zhang “xiao8” Ning (Coach)

OG (#8)

OG made a significant roster move on November 8, signing the Team Aureus stack from Southeast Asia. PGL Wallachia Season 6 was the Filipino squad’s first outing under the iconic OG banner, and they instantly impressed with a 5th–6th place finish.

Consider OG as our final pick for these DreamLeague Season 27 power rankings, above the likes of PARIVISION and HEROIC. Odds of 17.0 (+1600) indicate that OG has a mere 5.88% chance of winning the tournament—but we think the SEA squad is a bit underrated.

OG roster:

  • John “Natsumi-” Vargas
  • Erin Jasper “Yopaj” Ferrer
  • Nikko “Force” Bilocura
  • Timothy “TIMS” Randrup
  • Andrei “skem” Ong
  • Adam “343” Shah (Coach)
