ESL Impact League Season 8 Finals Power Rankings

The eight competing teams will first duke it out in two groups of four, featuring a GSL-style format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs Stage, where they will compete in a single-elimination bracket, with all matches played as best-of-three series.

For our predictions, we considered multiple factors, including team/player form, matchup histories, recent results, and roster changes. We combined these factors with the latest VRS rankings and bookmaker odds (November 24) to create our ESL Impact League Season 8 power rankings.

In our predictions, we used decimal odds (Stake × Odds = Payout), but we also provide American odds and implied probability. Keep in mind that odds represent a bookmaker’s confidence in an outcome occurring, playing a vital role in determining a team’s expected strength.

Imperial Female (#1)

Also known as Gamdom Imperial Female, the all-female powerhouse roster is the best in the business. Apart from newcomer Narmina “wieenN-” Gasanova, the rest of the roster are the ESL Impact League Season 5 and 6 champions.

As Nigma Galaxy, they’ve also won Seasons 1–4, ESL Impact Valencia 2022, and ESL Impact Katowice 2023. With legendary AWPer Ana “ANa” Dumbravă and IGL Viktoria “tory” Kazieva leading the charge, Imperial Female is our top pick.

Odds of 2.50 (+150) suggest a 40% chance of Imperial Female becoming the ESL Impact League Season 8 champions—and we couldn’t agree more.

Imperial Female roster:

  • Ana “ANa” Dumbravă
  • Katarína “Kat” Vašková
  • Alexandra “twenty3” Timonina
  • Narmina “wieenN-” Gasanova
  • Viktoria “tory” Kazieva (IGL)
  • Kamen “bubble” Kostadinov (Coach)

BIG EQUIPA (#2)

A strong contender to the throne has emerged in the form of BIG EQUIPA’s new roster, signed on August 13. With veteran AWPer Mayline “ASTRA” Champliaud leading the charge, the squad is pretty much primed for a podium finish.

It comes as no surprise that the odds of 5.0 (+400) indicate a 20% chance of BIG EQUIPA winning ESL Impact League Season 8. BIG EQUIPA went on a rampage to get to Stockholm, with a 10–0 map record in the European division, beating favorites Imperial Female in the process.

BIG EQUIPA roster:

  • Wiktoria “vicu” Janicka
  • Hanna “Hanka” Pudlis
  • Emma “Emmsan” Mattsson
  • Oleksandra “kyossa” Tykhonska
  • Mayline “ASTRA” Champliaud (IGL)
  • Krists “msn2k” Kalniņš (Coach)

NIP Impact (#3)

With legendary entry fragger Ksenia “vilga” Klyuenkova as the spearhead of attack for NIP Impact, sparks could fly in Stockholm.

Their IGL is a veteran of the scene, having won the first four ESL Impact League events under the Nigma Galaxy banner. She’s the ex-teammate of the Imperial Female core, hungry to add a trophy to the NIP Impact cabinet.

With odds of 5.50 (+450), there’s an 18.18% chance that NIP Impact will lift the ESL Impact League Season 8 trophy.

NIP Impact roster:

  • Mia “aiM” Cooper
  • Kiara “Qiyarah” Janssen
  • Naomi “Nayomy” Janssen
  • Ana “Zana” Queiroz
  • Ksenia “vilga” Klyuenkova (IGL)
  • Jesper “tenzki” Plougmann (Coach)

Sakura Esports (#4)

The runners-up at ESL Impact League Season 7 (playing as Supernova Comets) made their way through the North American division under the name Shimmer.

On November 6, Sakura Esports announced that they would be signing the roster of all-female players, instilling renewed confidence in the region’s prospects.

Odds of 8.0 (+700) signal a probability of 12.50% for Sakura Esports to become the champions, putting these talented North American players in the top four of our ESL Impact League power rankings.

Sakura Esports roster:

  • Lucy “empathy” Verkaik
  • Lydia “Fawx” Dalton
  • Raven “raven” Sol
  • Sylvie “Serendipity” Splaver
  • Wrenna “Stx” Trampel (IGL)
  • Victor “Ink” Rozvora (Coach)

MIBR Fe (#5)

In the South American division, MIBR Fe recently impressed, going 6–1 to qualify for the ESL Impact League Season 8 Finals. The all-Brazilian squad only lost to FURIA Fe in a close 2–1 slugfest, signaling strong form.

Despite being the highest-ranked team on the VRS (#112) in attendance, the latest bookmaker odds of 12.0 (+1100) suggest an implied probability of 8.33% that they could take the crown. This puts MIBR Fe among the bottom four teams at the tournament.

MIBR Fe roster:

  • Daniele “dani” Cavallari
  • Gabriela “GaBi” Maldonado
  • Giovanna “yungher” Yungh
  • Nadjila “poppins” Sanchez
  • Olga “olga” Rodrigues (IGL)
  • Paulo “land1n” Felipe (Coach)

Let Her Cook (#6)

Despite showing solid form, the exciting Let Her Cook roster narrowly missed out on a spot in the LAN finals via the European division, finishing 5th. However, due to travel documentation issues, Fingers Crossed couldn’t attend, as fate punched Let Her Cook’s ticket to Stockholm.

Odds of 12.0 (+1100) indicate there’s an 8.33% chance that Let Her Cook will take full advantage and win ESL Impact League Season 8.

Let Her Cook roster:

  • Yoana “Joanana” Vlaykova
  • Melissa “meli” Aylin
  • Selin “Spike” Sinem Alak
  • Lea “xia” Vagová
  • Jennifer “JennyR” Rodriguez

FlyQuest RED (#7)

To earn a spot at ESL Impact League Season 8 Finals, FlyQuest RED dominated the North American division with a 7-0 record. Led by Mounira “GooseBreeder” Dobie, who boasts a decade of experience in the scene, FlyQuest RED might just surprise fans in Stockholm.

However, odds of 15.0 (+1400) indicate there’s only a 6.67% chance that FlyQuest RED will lift the coveted trophy. Given their recent performances, FlyQuest RED might be slightly undervalued by bookmakers.

FlyQuest RED roster:

  • Vivienne “BiBiAhn” Quach
  • Emma “emy” Choe
  • Vanessa “vanessa” Gideon
  • Marie Ellen “marie” Toft Sørensen
  • Mounira “GooseBreeder” Dobie (IGL)
  • Alan “Shakezullah” Hardeman (Coach)

Atrix Esports (#8)

The all-Brazilian side impressed at the South American regional event, advancing to ESL Impact League Season 8 with a 6–1 record. On their way to Stockholm, Atrix Esports took down Season 7 champions, FURIA Female.

However, the jury is still out on whether Atrix Esports had a one-off success or is a strong contender for the throne. This sentiment is reflected in the odds of 20.0 (+1900), which imply a 5% probability of going all the way.

Atrix Esports roster:

  • Regiane “REGIANE” Santos
  • Sofia “sofiaxyz” Castelli
  • Dani “eleveN” Barbalho
  • Mariana “LyttleZ” Sabia
  • Gabriela “bokor” Bokor (IGL)
  • Lucas “segalla” Mancini (Coach)
